The Lowes home improvement store has recently put a rule in place where some 16,000 products sold at its stores will no longer be sold to minors, because they can be used inapropriately.
The reasoning for this.... kids huff paint.
WHAT THE FUCK?... There are just way too many problems with this new policy.
First, i cant remember the last time i heard about someone huffing paint. I live in western washington... weed capital of the united states. Why the fuck would kids buy paint to huff when they could just hang around the park for a 20 minutes and find someone to smoke them out?
Second, 16,000 products is just way too much. I didnt even know that lowes sold 16,000 different products, not to mention 16,000 things that one is capable of huffing. Apparently, they are counting waterbased paint, and wood glue.... which is ridiculious, because no one is going to shell out 30 bucks for a gallon of paint to huff, when for 40 dollars, they could buy enough opium to kill themselves.
Third, the local lowes is only one of about 10 hardware stores in my fair city. None of these other stores has this bullshit rule, so obviously it isnt preventing anything but possible sales. Thats just bad logic.
Finally, if for some odd reason i decided to start huffing paint, what's stopping me from just stealing it? My morals? My good judgement?
Who the hell does lowes think it is? It shouldnt give a shit whether some stupid shit 8th graders want to get a lungfull of toxic fumes... Its not their duty to protect us all.
Fuck lowes, lowes sucks.

Seven- Western Washington isn't the weed capital of the U.S., we have the distinction of being the meth capital of the world. WOOOOOOOOOO!!! But yeah, Lowes sucks.
Jwl- I get the feeling that question was directed at me. You can get them at most auto parts stores. Also at specialty cooking shops. Thats where I got mine.
