I have offically been stumped, and it does not feel good. I do not have the capacity or the programming knowledge to finish the last step on the page, and I was just curious as to see if anyone here on the magic that is Ubersite has the ability to solve this.

I've spent the past 2 weeks trying to work out the last step, and I've reached my wits end, so now I turn to you.

Heres the link, let's see if ANYONE can solve it. (It's gone unsolved so far, and LOTS of people are working on the last step.)

http://www.relpats-eht.com

Good luck.

Dear #10;

When I think back to highschool... I failed math. Ah, and then I failed math again. *cough* and again.

But I BEAT ASS in history.

So once I got past the math, the answer was staring me in the face!

I'm back in the game.

The last one is a long string of coding in red, blue, and green hexidecimal values. If you convert the green values to ascii, you get some garbled stuff, but then you run a bit replacment, and it brings up a paragraph: http://www.ubersite.com/m/81865

Now you have to try to figure out the clue in the final paragraph. No one has got it YET.

Buckeyes, putting in words takes you to a page that looks blank. Highlight the top left corner, there's a .bmp there. Copy it to your computer, change the contrast so you can see what it says, replace the word "WORDS" with what it says, that's the next clue.

Nevermind, something was wrong. If you put in the words "WORDS" on the rasterized one, it takes you to a blank page.

OK, I got the paragraph you posted. From the green channel integer values, flip bits 0, 1 and 3 (for example, if a character was 11111111, the decrypted character would be 11110100).

Melvin,

The guy who got the whole paragraph made a program to run a bit-replacment on the ascii version of the green channel. Thats where he lost me, but after that he said he did something with shifting 11 to the left, and I honestly have no idea what he's talking about right there. But if you have any idea, you might want to give it a try. He says he came out with a paragraph after all of that, I posted it up here: http://www.ubersite.com/m/81865

Hey, this one is for everyone on the last page:

I know some guys who had been working out on the whole hexidecimal octogonal, and they SAID they found an entire paragraph in the green channel. Just send me an email and I'll mail the final paragraph to you. Thanks.
-------------------------

I printed out the ascii of the red, green and blue channels. The green channel was the only one that didn't make my computer beep a bunch, if that means anything. But the text it outputted (for the green channel only) still seems pretty garbled.

I wrote a little program to convert those hex values into colors...play around with the columns number (some factor of 2296 makes it an even grid)...

Example:

So far I'm just getting randomness anyway.

Page 5: when he says "quake" and "model", he means he wants you to use the same encryption model that the game quake uses, which is MD5. Google MD5 translator, run the word "Page 5" through it, and it gives you the long string of letters and numbers you need to advance.

For all: Every CRT has a raster circuit or card that controls (i believe) the placement of characters on the screen. Hence, anything you see on your screen has been "rasterized". Just like the word "WORDS" that you need to get to the next page.

Well, the thing is, its made to symbolize two dates, but you can't completely disregard the + and - signs that are inside the {}'s. Think of everything in terms of their placevalues (eg. thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones) and use the addition and subtraction to come out with the REAL dates.

thats someones code-out of the hex colors...

a lot of people have broken the 6-char sets into rgb numbers (RRGGBB)and fed it into an imager... the green holds some key or some pattern, but the red and blue seem irrevelant, linear and random on a graph.... i see, something but not sure if it's just coincidence.

ok, the last one is not hex, not octal, not an md5, not 3des encrypted text, not CHAP encoding, (doesent look like) kerberos, i dont think it's SHA1, um, i'm running out of answers here. i dont think it's computer related at all... so, the nerd (me) is useless.

i found this while surfing around... havent tried it yet:
---------------------------------------------
delete all of the numbers on the first half of the things. then take them and add 1 inbetween each set of 2. then delete all of the spaces.
----------------------------------------------------

and finally... i have another theory before i submit this um, "rant"... some of those hex-looking segments, they could be web colors? try http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/ it has an in-page utility for color conversion. i'm too tired to mess with it now.

Just a LIL bit, find any binary translator, and run all of the numbers with a 0 in front of them. Notice that there are sets, and the sets together will spell out a word. The reason you have to add a zero is because most binary tranlators do so on an 8 number level, this only has 7 in each set.
