A classic '60s group: the Coasters.
Two golden hit Coasters songs: "Yakety Yak" and "Charlie Brown."
The Man With The Uberlyrical Brain: CaptainThorns.
Nothing like concluding a series with a double-feature showstopper.
For the sake of being different, I recorded the material a cappella instead of using instruments. And it's all done live - that's right, one take only per part, bitches. No re-recording. No written music. All of this recorded improv style and mixed/mastered within an hour and a half.
NOTABLE MOMENT: Tell you what...how about YOU tell ME what the most notable moments are in these songs. I had the most fun inventing background vocal parts for the kazoo solos.
