I fucking hate immigrants. They are always doing something to piss me off. For instance why the fuck would you move to a country and never learn the fucking language of that country? Has anyone even tried to find an English speaking American in Miami lately? Why do you move to a fucking country and speak any other language than the one that is the national language. Hell I lived in Bolivia for almost two years and I learned to speak Spanish! So why can't these retarded fuckers learn English? Did you know there are places in America where whole communities are still living as if they were back in their motherland? What the fuck is that about? If you don't want to live like an American and BE and American then go the fuck home!
And that brings me to another thing. What is it with all the motherfuckers who live in the states who constantly bash the country that they have chosen to live in? If you don't like it here then get the fuck out! Maybe you think I'm being a racist bitch....well to you bleeding heart liberal ball-sucking dickshits I say Fuck you too and get the hell out of my country.

This was very well written. I love how you reinforced your argument with a platform of strong research and then supplemented that with earnest hyperbole. I'm only going to -2 this because your piece is obviously satirical, and satire should leave the reader with a wry smile, yet at the same time invoke, dare I say, provoke, stimulated and animated adroit repartee amongst small groups of friends at tosspot sidewalk cafes - that and I know you used babelfish, Pocahontas, you crazy native americunt.

But the nation was colonised in war, not peace. The British came here with guns and won the right to practise their culture. I'd be happy if the Mexicans tried that today (or Chinese in my case as an Australian). It'd give me a chance to defend my way of life while giving them a chance to legitimately try and earn the right to own little fucking pockets of my country.

There should be.
The constitution, the laws, the military, the pledge, the national anthem are all in English. The worst thing that can happen to a nation is to lose it's identity and become divided. The liberal attitude towards foreign influence shows that America is now being colonised by Mexico. It's a matter of time, and because you guys are so afraid of inconveniencing or hurting the feelings of people you have been gratious enough to allow into your own country you will end up being overrun to the point where you will soon be forced to speak Spanish, so as to accomodate to foreign influence instead of bending them to your will.
Cultures can not mix. English or Spanish; there has to be one. Trying two simultaneously has only ever led to problems (Candaian Quebec, Sri Lankan Tamal(sp?), Italian Northerners, Belgian Division, Countless Indonesian Provinces etc).
Then again who cares about political instability, loss of productive potential, education problems and social division when the alternative is as horrible as making foreigners learn English when they enter the country?!

-2 for being so deeply stuck in your ideals. First off, yes it's true, there's no official language here, so we end up with shit loads of blends butchering every language from which they come. So maybe we should have a national language, but it'll never happen. Instead, we'll be stuck with thousands of people who either don't speak English, or pretend not to speak it so they can get away with shit. If you were writing to explain, rather than to wax racist, you would have stated that. I know I get pissed off when a Mexican family comes up to me and starts saying "Please. Please." and staring at me as if I'm supposed to know that they're looking for a bathroom.
