http://www.rathergood.com - Joel Veitch is perhaps the epitome of modern British humour. You show it to people, first they look bewildered, then rather pitying at your love of juvenile humour, then they giggle briefly before turning and saying 'actually, that is rather good.' Mission complete.
http://www.b3ta.com - closely associated with Veitch is b3ta. Incredibly photoshop and highly amusing humour. Occasionally it crosses the line from dark humour and becomes purely vile. This is even more amusing.
http://www.fat-pie.com - already plugged by Berty, but there is no harm in pointing to it again with an aghast expression and the words 'salad fingers' in a creepy old woman voice.
http://www.burntfaceman.com - more of Dave Firth - probably on the fat-pie site actually - slow to load but ever so funny.
http://www.shitesports.co.uk/ - for those who appreciate football, this take on the bbc or skysports dishes out abuse to all football teams and players.
I'd plug Stanley Tuesday actually as the odd bit of his work is pretty good - that one where he baits webcam whores was hilarious. But he's plugged his own stuff so much in the past, why bother?
Having looked at these sites over the years I must say that they are darker than the usual american stuff and are prone to getting the same reaction that The League of Gentlemen tends to attract. That of creeped out shivers followed later by giggling as you are finally free of its awful darkness.

When you watched it, you stared in horrified fascination, but the moment you turned around and crooned that at someone, you started giggling to yourself. What kind of comedy is that? Evil comedy, comedy that is only amusing because it distresses others. It's like slapstick, only with more blackface.
