This post is going to tweak a nerve with most of you and you know what, I really could give three shits. But the truth is I come here to write whatever the fuck I feel like writing and if you don't like the posts I write, don't click on them. It's really that simple and it isn't open heart surgery.
Bart created this place for anyone with a voice to speak whether it be some user that has nothing nice to say, or me who believes there is better in the world than someone who hides behind a computer somewhere calling a person an emo fag or a weak person for expressing their emotions. In one way or another we're all here to have a voice and have fun. But at what point does 'fun' become just outright nice, wrong and happy? My voice just so happens to be the voice of emo-ness. Sure I've had my moments when I've tried to smile and be happy, but really it's just not me. If I'm provoked by someone like Hadley who calls me a ' cry-along-dashboard listening-cutter" or by Caul who calls me in so many words a 'man loving, too tight jeans wearing, pile of self pity' it really doesn't matter because well, I can chose to read the vomit that has been spread across my computer or not. But we all know we read what others have to say here, that's what we do. We all have emotions. And everyone is entitled to their own individual choice to express whatever emotions it is they want to.
However, when it comes down to people who judge others on being depressed, well that's just where I draw the line. What is wrong with being depressed and saying you want to die? I'm not asking you to slit my wrists. I'm asking for constructive criticism when I write about how I want to slit mine. I am not looking for you to say 'cheer up' or 'this too shall pass' or 'there's always tomorrow' or 'you don't seem like a bad kid, stop the emo faggotry and actually talk to a girl without writing poems and love songs about her first'. When you people say things like that, I wonder who the hell brought you up? What mother or father would ever what their child to say that to another human being? And I only hope you never, ever have a child that might be, how should I say this, this emotional. But ya know, razors fall on wrists, and I'm not getting the attention I want so they may just end up falling on mine. I mean it this time!
Yeah, I have a few pair of women's jeans, wear makeup, and am depressed over absolutely nothing, and yes I've been ridiculed pretty much my whole life and if it makes you feel better making fun of me, do so. It still won't stop me from being the person that I am, which is sad and depressed. I'll always be the boy with the frown on my face. The thick fake plastic glasses on my face, and the pointless 'flowers are pretty, but only on graves posts'. Get fucking used to it or I'll take my tie off and hit you in the head with it, and then immediately afterwards realize that ties don't hurt when you snap them at someone's face. Then I'll run away while screaming and flailing my arms, dropping my backpack in the process. And that backpack has some sweet pins and patches on it, it would be a shame to risk one of them getting damaged. Or, we can sit in the corner of my room and cry while listening to Bright Eyes. Your choice?
