Since I got a new higher paying job, my spending has gone up. Way up. The first day I got the new job, I went out and bought a new 32" tv/5.1 surround sound system/$100 in games & music. Due to a slight monetary miscalculation, I had to take back the Surround sound and sit by with wonderful stereo sound! Yay! Well, since that time, my company has entered the slow stage of the year. December to mid-February is our slowest time. Since there's no work/no income, they have to cut how much they spend. Naturally, they buy everyone in the office (except for us newbies) the new Blackberry phones. Nice. Not only that, but the 3 people above me got new tablet notebooks. Nice. My company has, however, cut hours. The people who just got bumped up to salary get to go home if there's no work. They're lovin' it. I, on the other hand, hate it. Now that my big-spending bills/hospital bills (FROM JULY!!!) are just coming in, I'm flat broke. Oh hey! Let's cut my time by 2/3's! Yay! My last paycheck was for two weeks of work. I had 35 hours. Broke-ass me.
I told you that to help you understand that I'm so poor right now. I had a trip planned to Vegas (to meet up with all you motherfuckers) but that's on hold for now. So, for the past few months, I've been very bored.
I hate my life.

In other news, I just ate the most fantastic salad I've ever had in my life - fresh spinach, roast turkey breast, goat cheese, candied walnuts, fresh strawberries, and strawberry balsamic vinaigrette dressing. There are really no words to describe how incredible it was.
