Quick story I thought I'd share
So I'm walking to class and I find myself stuck behind a pregnant black girl on the phone. I overheard what she was saying and it sounded something like this.
Girl: UH HUH, I don't know what I'm gonna name it if it's a boy, but my little girl is going to be named PLACENTA Sha'Ronda Rucker.
The person she was talking to evidently asked her what Placenta means as she replied,
"I don't know, but it sound good."
I had to stop as I had doubled over laughing, I though yall might get a kick out of this.

My sister works in a hospital and routinely sees black people with the strangest names - twins named Truman A and Truman B, brothers and sisters named Pizza and Pepsi....the list goes on. She also sees people with odd items stuck in odd orifices.

Holy shit! I know a woman who's worked in various hospitals around the nation, and she had a story just like this!
Some black woman delivered her child, a baby girl, and afterward the doctor said something like "here comes the placenta."
She thought that the doctor had called her fucking baby placenta, and thought it was a beautiful name or something, and actually named her that.
