Welcome to UberTines 06. You will find below your match ups and titles. I know it's fast but the first post will be due 2/3 and the winners of that round will be announced 2/5.
Second round titles will be announced 2/5 with the first round winners and the next post will be due 2/8. Second round winners and third round titles will be announced 2/10 and the final post will be due 2/13. Final voting on 2/14 will be 3 P.M. central time and I will post the final results that afternoon.
The Uber population will be the judge. The highest rated title will be the winner. In the event of a tie the highest rated title with the most ratings will be the winner and if there's still a tie, the highest rated, with the most ratings, with the most hits will be the winner.

Being UberTines the general theme should be something related to V-day using your title. Maybe a little but I don't usually have hit heavy posts in fact there are 20k users who have more than doubled my hits. Not intentional, don't care that much. inion, if you choose to post that late, yes it will sit there over the weekend and hopefully you'll get the ratings you need. I know the timeframe on this sucks but it's mostly cause I thought of this way too late and then found volunteers to play along with my maddness. I anticipate rounding up scores at noon my time on monday (central) so there will some time in the a.m. for people to see your post. The only trouble I'd see with that is this: say Circe writes her post and submits it, but it's not part of the competition. I, for one, won't be as critical of it as I will with the competitors' stories because "it's just in fun." Thus, I'll be far more likely to give out a blind +2 if it's decent just because fuck it, who cares, right? But then, if she gets dropped into the competition, her rating may be better than her opponents simply because hers wasn't read with a critical eye.
I think if someone's going to be selected as an alternate they should have to submit a post after they've been told to fill in for someone. They could already have one written and waiting, just in case.
