In the tradition started recently by that filthy Saffa, Phuzzygish, I thought I'd joining the POMHF (Pictures of my holiday Friday) bandwagon.
A couple of weeks back, I spent 9 days in Bulgaria. Learning to snowboard, drinking enough alcohol to drown a pod of dolphins and just generally having a good time.
I can hear some of you saying "Bulgaria?! What the fuck!? Why would you have any reason to go there?!"
Well, the return flights were £60 with a budget airline, 10 euros per night accomodation in an apartment close to the centre of town. And lift passes, food in restaurants and alcohol were cheap enough to ensure the entire holiday cost me under £300.
Fuck France or Austria, I highly recommend it to anyone from Europe or the British Isles who's looking for a snow holiday on a budget. The pistes are beautifully groomed, there are heaps of different runs and the lifts are almost all brand new.
