Back in September, the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten - (A FREE AND PRIVATELY OWNED NEWSPAPER) - printed a handful of political cartoons caricaturing the Muslim prophet Mohammed. Yesterday, four months later, people in Beirut, Lebanon decided it would be a right novel idea to go torch the Danish embassy and ransack a Christian church and Christian community. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/4682560.stm
Countries all over the Muslim world have decided that since the Danish government did nothing to censor the cartoons, they should be held responsible, and in addition to the embassy burnings in Lebanon, Syria, they are boycotting any Danish-based companies and products as well. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/4665426.stm

Bringing eggs to an embassy razing is like bringing a knife to an RPG fight. What the hell is the problem with the Muslim community? Honestly, people of Islam, let me give you a word of advice...STFU NOOB! Welcome to the fucking 21st Century! I've got news for you: here in the "free world" nothing is sacred. Governments do not consist of clerics (or at least they're not supposed to). We value our freedom of press and freedom of speech (as long as we say exactly what the status quo demands of us, we can say anything we like). The infidels not only make fun of you, we make fun of EVERYBODY! It's called SATIRE. Just in case you don't know what that is, I have reprinted the definition below (sorry, I don't know sanskrit or I would translate it for you)

See what I did there? I insulted you by insinuating you don't know the meaning of satire and in doing so, I was creating a joke of which you were the butt. I was also clearly joking when I insinuated you use sanskrit to communicate. The aim was to illuminate the ridiculousness of western racism and prejudice against your people, NOT to insult you. You see how that works? Can you see how that principle can work both ways? I know you're new to this whole 'humor' thing, but the more you practice it, the more you'll catch on. I suggest starting with Monty Python. That will offer you a pretty round introduction into this alien realm of strange western hilarity.
You should hear some of the jokes floating around about the people of Poland, Ireland, Wales... You should hear the abuse to which blonde women are subject. You should stick around when after all the Jews have left the room and hear some of the hilarious things we say about them. And, none of us are naive; we fully expect they're doing the exact same thing to us.
People of rival sports teams or states of the US have off-color jokes about the other. People of varying religions have similar jokes. The catholics are the butt of a lot of good ones...particularly their priests, who seem to have a hard row to hoe in the 'getting off of the proverbial rocks' department.
So you see...it's not just you. We in the west are not singling you out. We're not any more racist against you than we are everyone else who is different than us. It's called being HUMAN, and if you examne yourself closely, I think you'll come to realize you do the exact same thing.
Part of growing up is learning to lose now and then...learning to be humble...learning to be the butt of the joke...learning to take your lumps in stride...and finally, learning to laugh along at yourself! Welcome to the world of international maturity. Unless you grow up real fucking quick, I fear we're going to have to issue a spanking.
This isn't about your fucking religion. Listen, you might think that all of us over here are Chrisitans and Jews, but the fact of the matter is, western man is a mixture of everything on earth. We embrace diverse cultures so much, in fact, we've lost all personal cultural identity, and now we're becoming a mass of godless TV-fuelled consumers. While I can see where you wouldn't want to follow in our footsteps and become like us, I see no reason you should raise a rucous over something so little as an insult in the form of a harmless cartoon.
You say you're angry because the laws of Islam were broken? I say you should simply thank your lucky stars it wasn't YOU who broke them! I don't know how it works in your country, but in mine, the lawbreaker gets punished for his crime, not all of society. I don't see where you should really give two shits if someone in Denmark is going to receive the wrath of Allah.
Why should you care. If your religion is indeed correct, the Danish government will get its just due without your intervention. Allah will see to that, right? So what the fuck are you worried about?
The only thing that warms my heart is the fact that, in a display of the power of freedom of speech, several news organizations throughout Europe have reprinted the cartoons in an attempt to teach you people these most important of lessons: humility and humor.
Repeat this prayer with me, children of Islam, and you will be better for it:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can't change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know that none of it fucking matters anyway, so I should just laugh and be merry once in a while.

People lose my sympathy really quickly when they pull shit like this. Many of my seemingly pro-Muslim postings have been mainly related to the comparison and contrast between their activities and our activities and how similar they are in terms of death and destruction.
However, my loathing for religious stupidity and the advancement of the lines of censorship, I am directly at odds. In fact, it's looking more and more like a biblical-sized solution might be in order. They want a holy war, and, if they keep it up, they'll get it.
But I assure you, they'll quickly regret it.
