Well, this is the second installation of mine and Razor's comic series, hope you enjoy it. It's still in its infancy, so any advice or ideas would be welcome. Thanks!

Number 4 was funny, if only for the Uberites.

Ah, I see what it means now, AJ. Thanks.

In light of my new understanding of the term, I can't agree with you, Iago/lago. But thanks for the opinion anyway.

I like the way you deleted the part where he called you a pretencious pree-teen cunt, skrapmetal.
----------------------
I deleted it because it doesn't apply to the comment I was making, or in fact, to me. Polyamorousaj did not call me a "pretencious pree-teen cunt". He said that the "jump the shark" phrase was often used by "Pretentious pre-teen American cunts". Not exclusively, but often. Since the only part of that description that applies to me is "American", my use of the phrase clearly falls into the 'not exclusively' category.

Also, please note that both Polyamorousaj and I spelled the words "pretentious" and "pre-teen" correctly, whereas you did not. If you're going to criticize, try to be intelligent about it.

Jumping the shark is a US pop culture term that was developed in the 70s. It's used to indicate when a show or series or what-have-you has run out of ideas. It came about from the show "Happy Days," which got so tired of rehashing their old plot lines that they came up with a new idea.
------------------------------------
So you see how the phrase applies: Nothing new in only four "episodes", and has has to fall back on a plagiarized (ie. not attributed to the author of the uberism or even placed in quotes) uber standard to get a positive rating.

Fonzi waterskiing over a shark.

Yes. Jumping a shark on water skis.

That's what the term means/comes from. Pretentious pre-teen American cunts hear it in use in some form or another, don't even find out what it means, and use it because it makes them sound cool or appear intelligent and worldly and possessing of large genitalia.

I'm not really amused by this one either (i never knew nor was curious to inquire as to what "soups on bitches!" meant.) but i remain hopeful that you guys will turn out some good stuff.

+1 for great idea.

Sweet.

Carry on, then. I've got a suggestion for when the reality show comes on, though. Have Kim Jung Il in Bush's tribe. Survivor-style.

Well thats kinda dissapointing, I mean it made me smile, but an uber reference is only going to work once and episode 3 wasn't at all funny.

Arts pretty good on episode 4, I don't dig the way you do Bush but thats just me I suppose.

Actually, if you're making these for an uber-crowd, a HA HA RABBIT would be funnier than these.

Iago(or is it Lago?)- I don't think you have to worry about the story degenerating into a bunch of "HA HA RABBIT" or "what the hell ,man" jokes, considering that Razor's writing these. You guys might not like it so far but we'll have to see what this turns into. As far as I'm concerned, we're still setting the scene, so have patience.

i was wondering how long it would take to gear your material towards uber.

Little lazy dont you think?

But it was ok.

---------------

Let me just say a bit more on this. I think its great that your doing a comic and all, and its only in the infancy, so no one is expecting great things, However if you gear it towards Ubersite, then your alienating 99.9% of the world.

Plus it means that youve trimmed down your possible jokes. You can do bandwagon shite like Bush introducing someone, and making it really long-winded, and then Tile4 = HAR HAR RABBIT and stuff.

That option will give you a rush of +2's from the tards on ubersite, but it wont last as ideas dry up. If you do it so people universally will get it, it'll be more rewarding. You wont have to explain it to people outside of this site.

Thats my 2 cents anyway.

I think the jokes are better this time. Maybe because I think Strips 1 & 2 were setting up for 3? Background counted for a little something?

#4 would have no meaning outside of Uber, but I'm guessing you guys knew that.
