I watched that movie a few times, and I really thought about what they were saying in terms of religion. But then that got boring and I just watched the violence and strip club. Anyone else?

Tell Kevin Smith that. He wrote in the insert with the DVD that he made the movie to display his personal religious beliefs, and then presented them in a comedic way so as to make it more mentally palatable. And it's a View Askew movie, not a Jay and Silent Bob movie. Yes, they are in it, but would you call Scream 3 a Jay and Silent Bob movie just because they did a cameo? Hey, let's judge every aspect of a movie based on TWO CHARACTERS. That's like judging sexual prowess by hair style.

This will sound harsh, but I think if everyone who watched Dogma more than twice (like dropping an H-bomb on Talladega/Datona during race week, if these people would just CEASE TO BE) it would clean up the gene pool, and the earth might stand a chance.

I rented it under the impression it was a true story about you getting anally raped with a 12" auger, then beheaded by a group of fanatic jihadis thereby preventing you from ever posting on ubersite. As you can imagine, I was greatly disappointed. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that this movie will be made eventually.
