They say the toughest choice is, more often than not, the right choice.
So here's me taking a gamble with Karma--and forgiving Hitler for his crimes against humanity.
I think he's paid enough. Don't you?
I also must forgive the thousands of other Little Hitlers I've run into during this universe: The fuckface boss, snotfaced client. Greedy hands, I shake hands with so many Little Devils, everyday. They talk about resources and exploitation. Bottom lines and Upside potential.
It's all a fucking joke to some of these people.
And most of these people are a fucking joke to me, too.
On a whim I bought 350 000 shares of PPTL this morning. Average cost around two and a half cents.
Middle of the day I notice it cracked three cents. I sell.
Two hours into the day and I'm up $1 120.00. My clients are also up $1 120, less my fee.
Lunch downtown with a lawyer. I'm thinking of expanding.
Afternoon session. There's a nasty wind that just picked up in the city. I can hear it through the office glass. Ominous. This is a loud place--phones, printers, streaming real-life instant quotes. The wind hushed it up for a heartbeat or less.
Target: GGR. Golden Goose Resources. I'm into my own money, my clients money, my office's money. I'm buying a lot of this stock--and it's complicated. This is by far the largest bulk position I've ever helped set up--stunk like money.
I start buying. Fifty thousand shares, 0.43. Ten thousand shares, 0.42. Another order for 50.
This goes on for an hour, I cross the 500 000 mark before my afternoon cigarette and 15 minute stare across the city that spawned me.
Another broker grabs a hundred thousand in a bought-deal like agreement with an informer.
We're bending a few rules, gladhanding, greasing.
We reach the all holy mark: 750 000 shares. Average cost 0.42.
It closes at 0.63.
That's a little under one hundred and fifty thousand dollars in one day.
When I started in this mess, I couldn't imagine myself working with these numbers--six figures is nothing to me anymore. I need at least 8 figures to get turned on--
And that's enough to buy an island.
I hate Capitalism. But I love exploiting it, working it. Owning it.
Being brainwashed and destracted by it.

I don't see him implying a link between capatilism and fascism (although that link is tenous at best, but that is a whole other argument).
I see him hinting at a link between Hitler and capatilism, which is different.
I explained how he could compare his reaping the rewards of capatilism to someone who benefitted from fascism, and I would get it.
Maybe he was using Hitler as a symbol for everything that is fascism, but I don't that comparison is good.
What I mostly see is him calling capatilism evil, but forgiving hitler because he wants to be forgiven for reaping rewards from capatilism.
