How many people would be interested in participating in an Art Post Wednesday? I thought about the idea, so how about a contest, like the setup of SPT a couple years ago?
The idea is to post something referring to Art in any way, it can be funny, serious, introspective, whatever it is you want. It can relate to paintings, sculpture, museums, ancient weapons, or anything that can be considered an art. If we have enough people that want to do it, we can count music and poetry.
Post your ideas Wednesday, and leave the links on this post. Whatever 1-3 posts have the highest ratings will win, but until we can see how many people will participate, it's all up in the air. Tentative prizes will be +2s, honor and glory.
Bishop Post Tuesday and Sex Post Friday both seem to have failed...

I did four, but then the art class I ahd ended and my access to art books was immediately cut off. I did a "special edition" of one painting I'd made, which sucked, and that was it. Somewhere in there I, or someone else, suggested "Art Post Sunday" but of course it never stuck. Since when has Uber cared about art?

I dunno what to think of this idea: it's good to have a day dedicated to art, but it seems to me (very probably because I'm more inclined to create than to rate art) to be a bit lazy to just post other people's art and critique it.
Actually, it's pretty pointless. If I'm looking at someone's art, I want to draw my own conclusions, not have to read about what some pretentious snob has to say about "tone" or "rendering" or "themes". A lot of what people say about art is just made up.
