As an actor who specializes in improv comedy, it has always been my dream to star in a Christopher Guest movie. Christopher Guest has made the best improv based ensemble comedy films to date: Waiting for Guffman, Best In Show, A Mighty Wind...and he also starred in the grandaddy of them all THIS IS SPINAL TAP. If you haven't seen these movies, stand up, and sit back down and netflix it.
So, a few years ago I "pranked" my friends by saying I was in a Chris Guest movie, and to prove it, if you went to the imdb.com page for "A Mighty Wind" at that time, you would've seen my name amoungst the cast list. When the final cast list came out, my name was of course removed, but if you google me, a ton of websites still have little ol' me in the cast. I 'fessed up about the trickery in this post: http://www.ubersite.com/m/25747
So, a new Chris Guest movie is in the works, and I applied my name-adding-magic to the cast list, and when I checked it this morning...I'm there. Right on top of Catherine O'Hara.
In theory, maybe Chris Guest will see me on the cast list and seek me out, and then cast me in a movie of his where I will experience fame and all my dreams will come true...but more likely, I've been added to his black list. For now, Will Zone remains in the cast of "For Your Consideration."
See the damage here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0470765/
For Your Consideration is the new mockumentary from the Chris Guest camp and has this tag "Three actors learn their respective performances in the film "Home for Purim," a drama set in the mid-1940s American South, are generating award-season buzz. " Great news for comedy fans...RICKY "The OFFICE" Gervais is one of the stars. Or, shall I say, one of my co-stars.
See me on the Big Screen Sept 22nd 2006!!!!!!!!
Oh Uber, I'm a prankster.

Ask ETS if you can borrow a box of tissues, fatso.
You're gonna short circuit your keyboard.
Maybe you can get a role as a Sharpei in "Best of Show II". I'll look for it at the video store.

Awwwwww, man...
Don't go fucking up a Christopher Guest movie by even being an EXTRA in it.
I love his work but knowing that a talentless hack like you is even in 4 frames of film, will ruin it for me forever. "
