Indeed, rest in eternal peace, oh round mound of...no wait, that guy's still alive for a few more years.
No, the man being honored in this post took his Michelinesque frame and used it to propel himself to baseball superstardom. All the while, he was universally regarded as one of the nicest guys in the history of the world (except by his ex-wife).
His defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th inning in Game 6 of the 1991 World Series, when he hit the game-ending home run that sent the series to the decisive 7th game, which the Twins won.
After being forced to retire due to glaucoma, he put on about 40-50 pounds per year, up to a peak of 734.5 pounds at the time of his death. Most people, however, choose to remember the jovial Kirby during his playing days.
And that's what I choose to do as well. Goodbye, Kirby. We'll miss you.

Pucketts death was overshadowed somewhat by the new Bonds steroid book.

What would Kirby Puckett be doing if he were alive today?
Scratching at the inside of his coffin!!!

This was awesome. Kirby Puckett was a fat piece of shit but for some reason I'm sad that he's dead.

I remember when Dennis Martinez popped him in the eye to end his career.
That was sad.

I had been looking with one of his with a bat from smash brothers but couldn't find a pic :(

Me too...sadly, I don't have as much time at work as I used to.

I saw the Ice Cube one already, but I'm not sure if a Nintendo Kirby one has been done. If so, my apologies. If you don't care, @#$%&*()$*@)*!^*}{}{{<><>{>$>!$>%<$%>
