I love to travel. I am indeed an avid traveler, (def. Having an ardent desire or unbounded craving; greedy: avid for adventure) though I am not yet well experienced. I have been to Colorado, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Germany, and Much of the south eastern US, particularly Tennessee where I am located. I mostly visit state and national parks, zoos, museums, caves, and a few aquariums.
My question is, if I write about where I've been, would you want to read it. I want to share what I've seen, and what I think that some of you may enjoy. I do not, however want to waste your time -2DIEing me, if you're not interested. I also have plans for a trip to California, and more tentatively a trip to Greece later this year

Also good. How do you set up to do something like this? (though I doubt I'm in good enough shape...)

'S much easier than you think.,
Some of them were done in Photoshop with a canvas of about 18cm, any bigger and people will have to scroll sideways, and they hate that. Then make the canvas as vertically long as you need, slap your pictures in and add whatever commentary you like. It's easy.
Same thing for paint, but the type often goes wonky, and it's not as clean. Other than that, you'll find out by trial and error. This isn't only for travel posts though, it can be applied to pretty much everything round here.

If it's readable we'll read it. If it's good we'll rate it highly. If you worry about ratings enough to adopt someone else's writing style you've missed the point.

i have - its vastly overrated - the park was actually sold recently - it's been a money drain since day one.
it's for very young children.

I haven't been to LegoLand. Have you? I like to visit children's museums and play with the tinker toys and lincoln logs and stuff, I always get first dibs cause I'm bigger than the other kids.

Other than that, my advice is travel more outside of America, and share what you learn with anyone else who asks about the world around them.
As long as they ask politely.

Let me get this straight, you love to travel, but you've only ever been to Germany and a few states in your homeland? And now you want to regale us with your wordly wisdom and witty anecdotes?
You yanks crack me up. THERE IS AN ENTIRE WORLD OUTSIDE THE USA. Although at least you sound like you want to see what else is outside the land of Happy Meals, which makes you better than most Americans I guess.
If your stories are entertaining, fire away. Write them. But unless they're interesting, be prepared to be flamed. We don't want to read about you missing a plane and having a 4 hour delay, or the fact the a German McDonalds didn't have ice in their diet coke.
If on the other hand, you went hiking in the Appelachian mountains one day, got lost and had to spend the night in subzero temperatures while avoiding a horny bear, we'd love to hear it.

Write about your travels, for sure. I can't rate this post well, though, cos it was kind of silly. If the stories about your travels are good I'll rate those well. I look forward to checking them out.
