I can't believe this hasn't been brought up sooner, I mean I know that I'm a conspiracy theorist but surely the rest of the nation has noticed this.
I'm talking about televisions unnoticed and unreported brainwashing of children and adults.
It's time it this issue was brought to the forefront and the public made aware. As a conscientious American I feel it is my duty and right to make a stand against this brainwashing and show that I care...and you should too.
I'm speaking specifically about Dora the Explorer and her sneaky cousin Diego.
Don't laugh, I'm not kidding.
You see Dora and Diego are part of BIG MEDIAS plan to make us and our children into Spanish speaking zombies.

In both examples I have given it is apparent that Dora and Diego are forcing the Spanish language upon us and I don't think it's right.
As it stands right now 47 million Americans speak a language other that English at home (http://spanish.about.com/b/a/033326.htm ) and with these two little ramparts running wild I'm sure the number is going to increase.
I'm also fairly sure that the government, specifically George Bush, is fully behind this idea and are salivating at the idea of it. Proof of this can be found here www.randombullshitlink.com and here www.ipickrandompartsofarticlesandcallthemfact.com .
I think the problem exists enough without more influence coming from the television and especially television being directed at our children.
Furthermore, I think that those choosing to support this act are probably those that are also behind the movement to outlaw Mentos in this country. Sure the commercials are cheesy and often foreign oriented but damn those little mints are tasty and who is ANYONE to say we can't have them.
I'd also like to add that this increase in Spanish speaking Americans is directly related to global warming.
No You say....HA I beg to differ.
If you listen to someone speaking Spanish, the speak faster and have more words to say in Spanish than they would in English. This adds to global warming in two senses. One being that the overall amount of hot air added to the atmosphere increases the warmth in the air thus cause the polar ice caps to melt. Two the excess carbon dioxide released is causing more plants to grow therefore the suns rays are being reflected more off the green leafy parts causing more UV rays to bounce around the planet...again increasing global warming.
Aside from all this interconnection I believe the Arabic nations to be that main sponsor behind this movement. If you look here www.hahaimadethisoneup.com you can clearly see that it is in Qatar's best interest that we speak Spanish as they someday wish to have all of their burritos created in sweatshop-like factories in the outskirts of towns such as Intercourse and Bird In Hand, PA.
You can not dispute these facts as I see it I think we all need to buy some guns and use them to insure that everyone's awareness is raised on these issues. Below are some charts that further prove my points.

Fuck no. I just don't get why ETS gets picked on so much, just because he submits posts with actual content that is relevant to everyone, and sticks up for what he believes in. Sure, he could be wrong about 90% of the stuff, but there's plenty of shittier alters/users to pick on too. Just seems to be a lot of anti-ETS attitude around here lately and it's starting to get old.

Well, I explained the reason I don't do as many lighthearted posts as I used to in that post you linked to. There is just too much shit going on right now. There aren't enough hours in the day to cover it all. Besides, you know, there are about 100 other people here that should be able to fully fill the lighthearted niche while I'm detained.
People pretty much know what to expect from one of my posts before they click on them. I try to actually categorize and name them based on what's contained in 'em, so it might be a reasonable thing to request that if people don't want to debate the issue, then they probably shouldn't click on an ETS post.
That's not to say I don't want dissenting views from mine. On the contrary, that's what makes the debate interesting. It's just that the pointless attacks that are based on preconceived notions of me or some previous beef have gotten well out of hand.
You're right. I need to lighten up more. But I am just following my feelings where they lead me regardless of what I KNOW others will say about it, because I feel compelled to.
If you knew me in person, I'm not all intense and shit like I am in writing. That's not to say I'm not forceful when I feel passionate about something, I'm just not that way all the time.
I might be going to the Chicago ubercon later in the year. If you want, we can smoke that peace pipe then.
We'll go on a shooting spree together or something. :P

well, i'm really not much of a 'pack' guy
rather i just took it personally that the one time that i took the time to reach out i was met with no response.
i think that from time to time you bring up legit issues but to do it everyday, or at least try to lowers the validity of what you are saying
as i said in my boisterous comment on your latest post, albeit not the best way to go about it, people come here to get entertainment and not always talk about the downtrodden world.
i would say, post something positive from time to time, there are good things happening in this world that you could do research on and we could debate.
as far as my daughter,well...things are going to happen in this world...some i can influence and some i can't. my best defense is a good offense so raising her the right way will be my best play as far as she is concerned.

I will say that ETS does keep it up. Even in the face of a hundred people screaming at him, he holds to his beliefs and I for one respect that despite how I feel about that issue on any particular day.
