Some of the lines - though containting the same # of beats - began on stressed syllables while others on unstressed. This happens to me a lot. It makes some of the lines sound choppy despite being structurally sound. I'd read one or two of the stanzas here and get in the movement of the piece, and then I'd be pulled out of it because of the shift.
This has nothing to do with the post and it's rating...I'm just curious: was he cremated and buried? There's mention of a coffin (though maybe it's a wooden box for the burnt remains) and scattered ashes.
