I'm only halfway through this 2.5 hour video and this scientist has convinced me those buildings were brought down through controlled demolition. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. 9/11 was an inside job.
This is no fucking joke. This is not a ploy for hits. In fact, this is the most serious I've ever been about anything in my life. I am nearly ready to take to the streets.
Our government, along with this Silverstein asshole, owner of the WTC complex, hijacked the American psyche to their own mutually exclusive ends to perpetrate MURDER on their own countrymen and women.
They MURDERED them. They murdered their own people!
Now, this video is long and the physicist is not the greatest lecturer in the world, in fact, his presentation is a bit boring, but listen to what this man has to say, and listen to what all the other physicists and engineers have to say about the government's official 'investigation' of 9/11.
Remember, when I say 'investigation', I use that term loosely since we're talking about FEMA here - the same government agency responsible for many of the Katrina fuck ups.
Remember, this man is not in clown pants and he is not some conspiracy theorist, he is a scientist who cares about his country and has the courage and common sense to see through the muck of the 'official stories', which amount to little more than government-sanctioned lies.
I don't care how you rate this, but it is my sincerest wish that each and every one of you that happened upon this post will set aside the time at some point to focus and consider what this man and more and more people like him are saying. People are risking their careers and their livlihoods to say these things to us. I think we owe it to them to listen, and I think we definitely owe it to the victims of this TREASON to bring their spirits peace and justice.
I have nothing to gain personally from this. I'm not selling fucking videos, I'm not making speeches, I'm just an American male who is in AWE that his country is being stolen from us.
Please. If you do nothing else this week, find the time to watch this video and inform yourself so that you might be a harbinger of truth, not a slave to a lie.

No matter what the content, a printed paper is ALWAYS more respected and credible than a post on the internet. And since you have already reached probably anyone who frequents ubersite, you need a new audience. Yes, the government used the events to their advantage. I think bush is evil and everything else but there is no way they were in on the September 11th events. I would even go as far to say maybe they knew something like that was going to happen eventually, and decidedly did little to prevent it. But there is NO WAY they hired people or whatever you say to do that. Where are all the pyrotechnicians that worked on it? And how did they set it up without anyone knowing. To prep a building like that takes months of 24/7 labor with a large crew.

That said, I think one would have to be very naive to think that the US government had no involvement with the events of 9/11. Even before the fires were out, Congress was dishing out $15 billion to the airline industry courtesy of the taxpayers. Ashcroft was grabbing more power for his KGB squads, claiming that the ability to violate civil liberties would have prevented 9/11.
A war was started on the premise that a guilty party had been found, and it just so happens that that guilty party was the same group that refused to let the Americans build a pipeline through their country. No evidence was ever presented to the public because it would "harm the investigation", but fortunately government can always be trusted to do the right thing.
George Bush was never elected. Ashcroft lost his senatorial bid to a DEAD man and was then appointed Attorney General. They're all criminals in the purest sense of the word undeserving of any of the riches passed on by their parents. They are liars by definition. Why on earth should I believe one word that any of them speak? Because Bush doesn't do coke anymore, that makes him a good guy?

It keeps burning really f***ing hot until it runs out of fuel. Add rusty steel to the mix, and you have some more fuel. And you're right. Jet fuel can't melt steel. Nor does it cause significant enough weakening that it would cause failure. Not to mention the entire building could act as a heat sink, and diffuse flame (fire) is the least efficient way of transferring heat by flame.

I prefer CA. wine myself. Probably because I know people who work for vintners and growers around the Napa/Lodi area, and get it for good prices if not free. And it's excellent wine.
Having said that, I haven't found a Syrah that compares to what Australia is putting out. I'm still to find someone that makes a better Chianti than Italy. And by god, I would never buy a Tempranillo made anywhere other than Spain. As far as france goes, if I can get a good bottle for a good price(comparable to what I can get from Ca. wineries) I don't have a problem drinking it.

COUGH COUGH EHEM...Jet fuel burns extremely hot, yes, not hot enough to melt steel, yes. But, it is definately hot enough to weaken the steel drastically. When the planes hit the towers they removed a lot of the insulating material from the beams, this, combined with all the beams destroyed or bent would certainly cause a building to collapse. --->(((The fact that there was still a lot of heat coming from the pile of rubbel doesn't say anything about explosives. In fact if explosives were used, there wouldn't have been any heat coming from them at all. And the fires were still raging up until the collapse extinguished them. If you're right then explain all the smokepouring out of the building, and the people jumping to escape it. Jet fuel burns at 800-1500 degrees fahrenheit. Steel melts at 2750 degrees. Steel has less than 50% of it's strength at 1100 deg. There were reports of the fire reaching over 1800 deg. At this temp. steel has only 10% of it's strength. Come to your own conclusions.
And no shit explosives can melt steel. I've seen video of a "Whitey Pete" artillery shell hit a truck and melt the entire front end including the engine block to a pile of molten metal.

yeah, looks about right to me. It definitely lines up more with eyewitness accounts, too. Even if you ignore all of the "probably" and "appears to be" aspects of REAL theories, and stick with provable facts, the official story is obviously a lie. Jet fuel could not have melted the steel; even if the fires had done the worst possible damage, the structure would have held. There are so many points in the official story that you can punch holes through I don't know where to start.

I actually didn't see it as creepy at all, or even directed at the the president personally. Here's my take on it (which will inevitably lead to other ramblings):

In other words, we're paying attention, so watch what you do. (okay so 95% of us would rather focus on the dynamics of American Idol than the consequences our government's actions, but there's a good 5% of us who take the time to read about the daily happenings of this world we live in).

This part fit so well into the theme of the video, too. There is far too much secrecy for "our own good" in this government. This secrecy is outrageously condescending at best, and covering up the unthinkable at worst. I know honesty when I see it, and I know dishonesty when I see it, and there has been far too much dishonesty from our government.
Do I think 9/11 was an inside job? I think that that is such a serious claim that I am not ready to make it until I have read that myths page (which I hope can convince me that the BYU professor was mistaken in part of his analysis) and studied a number of other sources. But I do know that there are several things about the official story that do not feel right. I would like nothing more than to find out that the official story was more or less what really happened. I would sleep much better at night :)

Not to mention, he wasn't very far away. Even though it was a telescopic lense on the camera, you can estimate his distance by the recoil of the gun in the footage. I'm guessing he was someone around 100-150 yards. not very far on sniper scales.

Caul, is that a video game? I don't play many of those, when I do, it's Tiger Woods PGA.
I wasn't saying that I'm a sniper, I see the confusion my review may have caused. I also just based my opinion on what I could see. The sniper probably has a kalishnakov based weapon, so the range with the 7.62 cartridge would be somewhere around 600 meters. 1/3rd the effective range is still not impressive.
Something that is: Our Marines have to qualify at 1000 meters just to be a sniper.

The Empire State Building
Perhaps builders should take a second look at the Empire State Buildings construction. There might be something to learn when they rebuild on ground zero. The empire state building has exterior Indiana limestone exterior wall, 8 inches thick. The floors are also 8 inches thick consisting of one-inch cement over 7 inches of cinder and concrete. All columns, girders and floor beams are solid steel covered with 1 to 2 inches of brick terracotta and concrete. There is virtually no opening in the floors. And there are no air ducts of a HVAC heating cooling and venting system penetrating fire partitions, floor, and ceilings. Each floor has its own HVAC unit. The elevators and utility shafts are masonry enclosed. And for life safety there is a 4-inch brick enclosed so-called "smoke proof stairway". This stairway is designed to allow people to leave a floor without smoke following them and filing up the stairway. This is accomplished because this smoke proof stairway has an intermediate vestibule, which contains a vent shaft. Any smoke that seeps out the occupancy is sucked up a vent shaft.

Effects of jet crash and fire on a skeleton steel high rise
A plane that only weighted 10 tons struck the Empire State Building and the high-octane gasoline fire quickly flamed out after 35 minutes. When the firefighters walked up to the 79 floor most of the fire had dissipated. The Empire State Building in my opinion, and most fire chiefs in New York City, is the most fire safe building in America. I believe it would have not collapsed like the WTC towers. I believe the Empire State Building, and for that matter any other skeleton steel building in New York City, would have withstood the impact and fire of the terrorist's jet plane better than the WTC towers. If the jet liners struck any other skeleton steel high rise, the people on the upper floors and where the jet crashed may not have survived; there might have been local floor and exterior wall collapse. However, I believe a skeleton steel frame high rise would not suffer a cascading total pancake collapse of the lower floors in 8 and 10 seconds. Hopefully some engineer using computer calculations, can reconstruct the effects of a 767 jetliner crashing into another New York City high building. In any other high rise in New York City, I say, the floors below the crash and fire, would not collapse in such a total a cascading pancake cave-in. Most of the occupants and rescuers killed in the WTC tower collapse were on the lower floors.

Well, what the videos were claiming was that the official story was impossible. I saw enough to know that the conspiracy theories were far less credible than the official story. I'm all for questioning authority and in fact find it necessary, because interesting science never gets done when everyone agrees about stuff. I don't know about ALL the evidence, because I haven't looked at it all, but based on everything I've looked at so far, I'm sure that even if something WAS being covered up or mis-explained, the conspiracy video producers wouldn't be giving you the right explanation either.
And, sure, there's the *possibility* of a controlled demolition... but there's no requirement for it. Spreading 90,000 liters of burning jetfuel across a building constructed like the twin towers is apparently a sufficient condition to bring it down, so why multiply the explanations needlessly?
More than that, as a scientist it makes me want to punch people in the face when they completely misunderstand something, fail to explain it properly, and then say things like "These are scientific facts and cannot be argued with." It's behavior like that that makes people hate science and science education. I literally couldn't watch that second video all the way through, because it made me want to bash my monitor in.

The fire didn't last long enough and was not even close to being intense enough to melt steel, let alone evaporate steel. The professor in the video goes into all of this in the video. Feel free to peruse it.
When you factor in heat dispersion through surrounding materials and the surrounding air, you're adding even more improbability. Steel is melted in huge kilns precisely because the temperatures required to melt it cannot be achieved by a simple fire - even one produced by jet fuel.
There are pictures in the video that show, (albeit fuzzily because of compression quality), huge chunks of molten steel and aluminum.

I haven't been particularly concerned with building 7-- I don't know anything about it.
On another note, the B-25 that hit the Empire State was light, travelling slow and had much less fuel aboard than a fully loaded passenger jet. More importantly, the Empire State has a very heavy masonry and steel construction completely unlike that of the WTC, with massive internal support columns.

COUGH COUGH EHEM...Jet fuel burns extremely hot, yes, not hot enough to melt steel, yes. But, it is definately hot enough to weaken the steel drastically. When the planes hit the towers they removed a lot of the insulating material from the beams, this, combined with all the beams destroyed or bent would certainly cause a building to collapse. The fact that there was still a lot of heat coming from the pile of rubbel doesn't say anything about explosives. In fact if explosives were used, there wouldn't have been any heat coming from them at all. Explosions are wam bam thank you mam. All the fuel in the explosives would be burnt off in the initial explosion. Ever played with gun powder? And the fires were still raging up until the collapse extinguished them. If you're right then explain all the smokepouring out of the building, and the people jumping to escape it. The material that was compressed after the collapse would have acted like a big charcoal briquette, and did.

The building collapse was caused by two factors: fire, and falling debris. Fema's initial report was that the building hadn't suffered as much damage from falling debris as it actually did.
