The drumming repetition of 'time' was a nice touch.
I'd be curious to see how you'd read this aloud.
---------------------------------
This is a recording from a performance of my poem-song at one of my church services, so the music director is the one singing - I'm playing bass. From a musical perspective, I call it "It's Time," instead of "Feng-Huang."
The good thing about going to a large church is having the resources and expertise available to produce a high quality recording.
Rate as you like.

The recording is good. But it's almost too good. It lacks a certain character when you get quality of that level. To me, at least, it makes a song sound very stale and commercial. I think if you just got out one guitar and changed it around a bit, I'd like it more.
But, still, good musicianship and recording skills here.

on the other hand, I can't believe you called my french metal song shit when you write generic cheesy pop music
---------------------
It had nothing to do with the Frenchiness of it, Caul, I think pretty much ALL metal is shit.
Who was that French one-hit-wonder kid? The one that sang "Dur, Dur D'etre Bebe"?
Now THAT was awesome.

WHOAH. While this kind of music usually makes me want to kick things, Captain, this recording is fantastic.
I suspect Christian Rock labels would fight over this. If they condoned fighting.
Whether it's to my tastes or not, it surely deserves a decent rating, I think.

where did you find your background choir?
-------------------
um, at church. I'm in the mix there somewhere, belting out to get picked up by the choir mics whilst playing bass.

I gave this the first -2 before I even listened to it.
Now that I've listened to it - does anyone know where I can find a -3?

The little tirade between me and nitty over his round two entry this morning has made me realize that I've been spending wayyy too much time on Uber at work recently. All the bickering over competitions, and ETS, and "what should Ubersite be"...maybe we ALL need a break from Uber.
But nonetheless, I'm going on short hiatus. My employer will probably appreciate me working more than 10 hours a week anyway.
When I'll be back, I don't know. But it's time to clear the head and come back renewed.
Viva la Uber.
