If you've followed a link on your post to this, hang your head in shame, for you have just managed to create something so gay, that I have decided to appropriate an acronym and use it as an adjective to describe what was previously so gay, there were no words to describe it.
The word is Larp.
What you have done is so gay it compares to grown men and women playing dress-ups and hitting each other with foam weapons and taking it all very, very seriously.
What you have done is Larp. Gayer than gay. So gay, that gay men want to bash you for your gayness.
