Stop giving ets the satisfaction of constantly replying to his inane posts. I am fully aware that writing a post about his posts is also pandering to his little cult of personality, but I am addressing it to the people that keep typing reply after identical reply in the vain hope that he will come around.
There is no point. There is negative point to arguing with ets. If I were a mathematician I would make you an equation that displayed exactly how every second you spend typing a reply on his rant posts, humanity de-evolves jsut a tiny bit. I'm not, so you're going to have to take my word on this.

He is a bright enough guy. He is just uninformed, while sadly thinking he is well-informed. He is hypocritical, and you can never resolve an argument with a hypocrite, they just keep backflipping on you. He wheels out link after spurious link of 'evidence' that supports his words, then when you either debunk his source, or worse still, provide a contrary source he claims to hate the media and talks instead about how the sites you listed are just 'scarecrows' (or whatever) designed to spread misinformation.
This is textbook fucking schitzophrenic paranoia. How can you argue with someone who is only willing to accept the factual validity of sources that agree with him, and furthermore, and contrary information is just people 'out to get him'?
Surprisingly, you dipshits seem to fail to understand that you can't, so I'm telling you now:
YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH A MORON WHO ONLY LISTENS TO WHAT HE WANTS TO HEAR.
There is zero, ZERO point discussing any point of an 'expert' sort of nature with the guy. By all means, put forward your various personal ideas and theories, for what they worth and discuss them. But DO NOT, EVER try and discuss things with the guy (or almost anyone else on the site, for that matter) on a level that requires years and years of study and work in the field. Reading some guy's book, some websites, and a newspaper here and there does NOT make one expert. Years of tertiary education, and more years of work IN THE FIELD make one an expert, and that's it.

You seem smart, you seem passionate. You state that you want a change, both in your government, and in the way humanity goes about it's existence on this planet. These are worthy ideas and you are a good person for thinking them. However, that is all you're ever going to do, because you don't seem to understand how change is made. The internet, while a powerful tool, is still not THAT powerful, not even close. I mean, for fuck sake, as far as using it to support one's words, my lecturers are leery of anyone using almost anything from the web, and this is in a shitty 'arts' degree, where I can say just about whatever I like. You will never make change through the internet. You will never make change from without. The way you make change is through the system. You work directly with the system until you move into a position where you can directly affect it. Change comes from within. Stop writing your local congressman - angry, bitter old people do that. Don't write him, BE him. Go get some schooling, and go work and live in that field. Go and be someone who is able to make change, not some overly dramatic douchebag who sits in his basement and thinks he is effecting change by arguing with no more than 10 other douchebags (including me) on the internet. Your audience here is not as big as you think, despite what you (or anyone else) may think the hit counter says.

Ummmmm? Because usually the whole idea of using an alter is to deflect responsibility from the negative (/aggressive) action of -2ing a post, but he does it with a known (read: disclosed) alter to amplify the aggressive and hostile nature of the rating which rubs me wrong.
It is almost as if his constant criticism of something like, say, the aggression of the Bush administration, is . . . what is the word? . . . hypocritical? . . . in light of the wanton aggression he shows in this respect. Or possibly that his aggression is even more disgusting and dishonest because of the one token step he takes by employing the [knonwn] alter to implement it. As if there is some element of cowardice there - he wishes to hide to some degree, and yet his Vengance knows no bouds . . .
I don't know something about it disgusts me to my core.

as far as ets goes, i think he's the kind of guy that seeks out an image that best suits his mission at a given time. he seems like the guy that was big into grunge when nirvana came out, then went to punk when green day surfaced, then got really confused because they overlapped and he started dressing like boy george and flavor flav.
definitely a sharp comparison to fat tony, who i'm pretty sure hasn't changed his image one bit...

decono man -- i realize i referenced fat tony when i was talking about ets, but i cannot begin to name the reasons why ets is sooo much more fun for me on this site. to me, fat tony does the shit he does because he's a fat slob and doesn't care what other people think. i could also seem him being an alter or a giraffe with downs, but that's just how my mind works. as far as ets goes, his shit interests me because i have a hard time believing someone is as ignorant as him. part of me wants to call shennanigans on his whole tirade, but that might cause it to stop. and do i really want that? it's like when you're watching a guy just get mauled by the piercing horns of a bull in a rodeo on espn2 at 3 in the morning. sure, part of you hopes the guy is okay, gets medical attention and that his family isn't watching -- but the other part of you is hoping to see some pretty awful shit just so you can tell everyone that you saw a guy get engorged by a bull horn.
