My fingers were the music, a steady beat with a subtle touch. She said it, not me, she made the forever promise. With a fleeting look, my answer was to take a drink, slip it in, and wait. That night was a night to remember. I was free like the birds, high. I flew like an eagle, and fell like a heavyweight. 3 days later, thursday for the birds, tuesday for the masses. Here we go...

Titanic, drowned I went, and I've hit bottom, fucking low, took my time, way too slow. But unlike titanic, I'm not a catastrophe, not yet anyway. She is, It's her fault, 3 days later and look at me now. So this is freedom? Depression, with screwdrivers through my eyes, my face in a blender, and my finger on the trigger. Here we go..

Ambience. A simple word, but the answer to everything. It was'nt supposed to end like this, but that's her problem, not mine. Over the line, under the harmony, around the block, do not pass go. Pressure like a gun to the head, a cold winter's night with a warm summer's breeze. So take it all baby, everything is yours. 3 days later, Here we go...

This brought one of my favorite '90s songs into my mind, I have no idea why.

I would swallow my pride,
I would choke on the rind,
But the lack thereof
Would leave me empty inside,
Swallow my doubt,
turn it inside out,
find nothin' but faith in nothin',
wonderful my tender
heart in a blender,
watch it spin 'round to a beautiful oblivion.

+2 for the '90s.

Needed a samurai fight with giant samurai's. They would represent confidence and self-loathing in conflict with one another. Confidence would fight with nuclear weapons and self-loathing would fight with a stick. Self-loathing would win, 'cause of his mad skillz, but would not harm confidence who would die of radiation poisoning from his own weapons. Self-loathing would then turn into a tree or something.

That would have been awesome.

Plus 1 on the proviso that the sign-off thing at the end doesn't mean that you stole it from somewhere. I'm too lazy to check that myself.

I'll give it a +2 because I like the picture...
