I got a gig from one of my old friends who works as a graphic designer in Pittsburg. He was suppose to re-imagine a number of '80's cartoon characters for a client, and he asked for my advice on the subject. I ended up helping him with some of the artwork, too. I displayed my version of "Smurfette" in an APW post a while back. Since I have nothing of any real merit to contribute today, I thought I would toss up another one of these pictures.
He-Man and his crew. I drastical redesigned Stratos. I wanted to make him look way younger and stand out. The basic tale we ran with, was that "He-Man" was a legendary character from this culture's past. Never in the ancient text was the mythological hero ever given a name, he was only refered to as "He" and "The Man," hence he became known by the silly moniker... HE-MAN! Prince Adam (somehow) is able to mystically bond with the spirit of this ancient warrior, blah, blah, blah. That was our explanation, at least.
Okay... who can remember the names of all the other characters pictured???

Have you not seen the new He-man they came out with a few years back. I liked it becuase it had more of the figurues I had as a kid in the show. The art work is good and reminds me alot of the new series.

Don't go out and buy the first episode of Thundercats. They are nude, but all coverd with fur.

Did you know Cheetara as well as ALL the other Thundercats (except for old Joga) were nude in the first episode?
That's why stations won't show that episode any more, you can only find it on DVD.
