Remix Contest 1: http://www.ubersite.com/m/87252
Remix Contest 2: http://www.ubersite.com/m/87341

----------------------------------------------------------

Congratulations to rock_music for figuring out the artists in BOTH contests. All I have to say is, holy shit.

Contest 1 was a real attempt at creating a trance piece. The DDR song I used was Silvertear's So Deep (Perfect Sphere Remix) and I paired it up with Above And Beyond's Far From In Love (Airbase Remix). I then used a clip from Darren Hayes' Heart Attack to add an interesting vocal segment throughout the song, creating possibly one of the best remixes I've ever done.

Contest 2 was simply me taking Prodigy's Breathe and Propellerheads' (featuring the Jungle Brothers) Take California And Party, slamming the two songs together, cleaning it up a bit, and throwing it on Uber. It took me roughly an hour to do. Either way, I figured it turned out pretty cool, but not nearly as clean as it could have been.

Today's mix is something interesting. I was simply dicking around in Acid and had the crazy idea of throwing a Metal song and a Techno-Pop song together, just to see what it sounded like. It sounded so........... different, I figured I'd share it. Same rules as last time. There are only two songs used in this mix, so the first person who can guess BOTH artists and BOTH song titles will win 5 +2s.

Good luck.

I would say some tetris and mario star music. I guess would just depend on which games you think would go together well.

Nice job on the remixes, Matt. Ever think about DJing part-time?

Meh...... it's better than most stuff I've heard in that genre, but that's not saying much.

Darko - Cool, I'll give it a shot. I've already done Chrono Trigger's Schala and the Megaman 3 Introduction, so those are out of the question. Any ideas?
