I need help finding some kids stories...preferably short. They need to be "politically"correct. and more important free. This is for a kids newsletter and it will be given out to many kids from different parts of the world. Ages about 4-10
Is there anyone who can remember a great story they heard when they were a kid? Or even have one they have written? Please help!

I agree with Tina. Where the wild things are is a bad ass book. I used to love it.

once upon a time there was a little girl named Anna. She was eaten by evil monsters and died. the evil monsters were sorry that they ate anna, so they named their goldfish Anna.
Anna the goldfish laid a bunch of eggs that hatched into more goldfish. the evil monsters took the baby goldfish to a large man named peter. peter decided that the baby goldfish would make great party favors for his housewarming party.
peter shot a guy named larry one time, but larry lived and is now best friends with larry. At peter's houswarming party, larry shot peter in the head and stole all the baby goldfish. Thats when larry took off his disguise and showed everyone that he was actually an evil monster.

There once was a little boy who was walking down the mountain. He encountered a snake. The snake said "Please little boy, take me down the mountain". The little boy said "No, you are a snake". The snake said "Please little boy, take me down the mountain".
So the little boy picked up the snake, took him down the mountain. Then the snake bit him. The little boy said "But... you said you wouldn't bite me!" The snake said "You knew what I was when you picked me up."
My grandma used to tell us this story, the moral is not to do drugs and such cuz you know what they are.

Here, I wrote this one a while back. Its always good to tell to kids.
Once upon a time there lived a girl named Ash And she was a happy girls skipping all the time and then, a monster appeared waaghh thats the monster and oh no, what did she do? She attacked the monster With her claws and heat seeking missles and laser beams for eyes and with a giant battlecry of REBELS FOREVER she leaped onto the monste with her fangs bared and her five inch claws extended and a great ruckus ensued and a cloud of dust obsucured both the monster and the girl for five minutes all a person could hear was various yells and shouts and bloodthirsty crys when the dust calmed down there stood the girl Victoriious But the monster had eaten her lower half of her body so she was a gimp and a hunter came along with little bunny foo foo, caught and skinned and decided to marry the girl, cause what other options does a gimp have but the gimp and the hunter got into terrific fights so one night, the hunter went to the big bad wolf and hatched a good plan a good righteous plan to smite the gimp where she stood so they got outside help, the mafia or the three little pigs known elsewhere to "make the gimp sleep with the fishies" so one day while the gimp was hopping around in the kitchen the pigs came in but they couldn't figure out how to strap cement shoes to a gimp, since the gimp had no feet so they just cooked her The morale of the story, Never take candy from a stranger.
Sorry about the spelling, I wrote it late at night, I wasn't in a sane state of mind. And I just was typing my little heart out.
