Not only have I upgrades from MSPaint ot ImageReady full-time, I kinda stumbled upoen this Humanst font that I think is a bit livelier than Arial. I can't explain it, I just kinda like it.

I love these. I also love getting to wear jeans on Fridays because deep down, I'm 10 years old. I also love the fact that my boss is gone for the weekend so I'm leaving early. I just can't decide how early is too early to leave. Maybe I'll put my radio on a sleep timer to go off at 5 and turn on that handy spreadsheet & business objects screen shot screen saver so it looks like I'm still here.

Elisha Gray is also credited with it. But I went to Wikipedia and found this:

"However, Meucci was recognized by the US House of Representatives, in House Resolution 269, dated 11 June 2002, as stated, "Expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that the life and achievements of Antonio Meucci should be recognized, and his work in the invention of the telephone should be acknowledged". The Parliament of Canada retaliated by passing a resolution recognizing Canadian immigrant Alexander Graham Bell as the only inventor of the telephone. [1] [2]"



So to count, there are three people total who invented the telephone.

Well.....many sources, try looking at official lists of inventions I can't remember that post was a long time ago, its just one of the things I know.

Try Wikipedia or something...even though it isn't really reliable. That is actually one of the more commonly known ones actually, it was the second one anybody got right.


Having done spome releasrch I find little evidence Of bell having stolen the idea, though my original source for that is Stephen Fry who carries more than a small amount of beleivability.

Certainly Meccuci invented the phonme first, although I'm aware that the canadian government deny this.

Alright, but I'm still a bit sceptical about the Graham Bell thing. I've been to the museum about his life and the invention of the telephone in Bedeque Nova Scotia, and it seems unlikely they would overlook such a fact. What is your source on this?
