SPT.
Shit Post Thursday.
It's become an art form, really. A specialize form of post, recognized on one day of the week. One day when we try to out-do each other with the pointless, the disgusting, the amusing and the offensive. Rarely are words needed, just an image. If words are typed, they are merely to confuse, belittle or state the obvious.
We have seen some wonderful things within SPT. We have seen some hideous things, as well. Most of the time, we see the mind-numbingly stupid. And for all of it, we cheer. Oh, there are some who speak out against the glory of SPT, but they do not understand. Ubersite is about Chaos. It's about a picture of that god damn Emu next to a piece of great literature. After reading opinion essays, political articles, strange fiction and sexually deviant poetry... we want to see our beloved Har Har Rabbit. We need a break every now and again.
So this is my first SPT. I'm quite nervous. I searched the internet, seeking the best picture I could find for display. I'm so busy doing research on my new project, I don't have time to do anything else worthwhile. (Hopefully, you fucks will dig it!) Anyhow, I finally found my image, my jpg, my picture.

I've been in the medical field too long. This pic hardly has an impact on me.
We get patients this big (bigger too!)in for cellulitis (skin infection). Kind of looks like what this guy has. When they come in, we have to get one of the "Big Bertha" beds out of storage.
I'm serious, that is what they're called, "Big Bertha" beds.
I even have special, extra long needles to draw their blood. My standard needles generally aren't long enough to hit the veins under all the fat.
And then I have to draw what is called a waste tube before I collect the actual sample(s). Wanna know why? It's because during the journey into the arm and to the vein, the needle will scoop up fat cells.
I'm stopping now.
