Love thy neighbour is a famous quote from the bible
In the same chapter if they're called chapters I do not know.
In the same chapter it says love thy neighbour 1 time but love the stranger 72 times.

Someone once thought that was important.

But people do not quote it as much as the other one.

Lots of people smile at people they know when they see them out and about.
But hardly anyone smiles at strangers.

I do.

It is sad the way some people react. Young teenage boys get angry.
Some types of attractive women also get angry. Some women get scared. Some people look disgusted.

I smile at them and they look disgusted.

A lot of people just look away and pretend they did not see me.
I smile at people who look tired or bored or sad. Often they like it.

It makes me happy when their eyes light up and they try not to grin. Often they are embarrassed. It takes me 2 seconds to smile at someone and it cheers them up for hours.

I think the world would be a much better place if more people smiled at strangers.

: )

I smile at strangers and say hello if we make eye contact. I think it's just the polite thing to do.

I like to dry hump stranger's legs to see thier reactions. just try it sometime, I do suggest you start with someone you know who is smaller than you just to get a feel for the whole thing.

it's also been proven that if you smile and say "hi" or "how's it going" to strangers you are less likely to get mugged.

An anti-crime organization polled inmates convicted for violent crimes and no less that 1 in three said they couldn't rob someone if that person had said hi or waved, they felt guilty about it. That brief moment of human interaction not only brightens someone's day, it can stop a violent crime.

Think about it.

Bang on! I feel the same, smiling at strangers is so easy and so rewarding. All it takes is a smile back and you've cheered yourself up as well as a stranger.

It's such a shame the way people are about strangers, the world would be a much nicer place if everyone smiled at strangers.

"The Man" is to blame with all the scaremongering that's gone on in the last decade, people are suspicious or scared of everyone, especially strangers. When 99% of the time they are just normal people spreading a smile.

===============

No, 90% of the time the person IS creepy and probably touching themself under their coat, 99% being normal people should be a goal.

I gave a homeless chick ten euros the other day. She asked me if I had any small change, I said no, and I just handed her the bill. I don't know what came over me. I just did it. She was surprised as hell. I hope she doesn't spend it on drugs. She had two dogs with her, and I love dogs. We could argue all day about whether being homeless is somebody's fault or not, but it sure as shit isn't the dogs' fault, and they don't deserve being on the street. I hope she buys food for them.

Can I just shit in one hand and wish in the other and see which one fills up faster?

How about I just frown and flip off strangers, instead...I'm doing it to you right now.

Smiling kicks ass.

A big red clown nose is also good for when you're stuck in traffic.

i like to stare at people with my head tilted
and my eyes squinting just slightly.

because i'm imagining what they look like naked.
