The train rumbled on along the tracks, like a missile homing in on its target, with a bit more accuracy in this case.

I'm a thirty two year old man; I work in London as a trader. I've an Armani suit and Tag watch. I like golf, cricket, and when the booze is flowing, I like football to.

Today is just another day. I look up on the train, and I'm not alone. It's one of the shorter carriages with the toilets in. In front of me are an old couple who chat about something mundane, like a raffle or a steam rally. Two children sit upfront at one of the tables playing top trumps, as their mums sit discussing the latest issues (Apparently there's to be a new reality T.V show). Slightly further down is an old black gentleman. He looks smart, but time is evident and he looks weary and tired from a hard life.

We pull into the first stop. It's a forty minute ride from here to Northampton Station. Some likely lads get on, clutching their precious cans of Stella as if it were a golden chalice. One of them has his scarf pulled up over his face, concealing his mouth. The oldest of the three has a tattoo of a tear under his eye. I sit back and close my eyes. The youngest of the three, assuming the scarf boy is around eighteen, looks the worst in my mind.

They start laughing and joking, which is understandable. I'm sure they won't cause any trouble. I hope. Would it be my responsibility to keep them in line if they did? My shoulder is knocked and I am made aware of my surroundings again.

"Sorry bout that geez. You alright? Top bloke mate, fucking top bloke! Nah what I mean son? Course you fucking do! Ha-ha!" I smile. The youngest one continues his stroll into the toilet. I think if I could have, I would have shit myself, but on the other hand Armani is pretty expensive.

Fifteen minutes in and the boys have some how manage to consume four cans each of Stella. They must have been drinking for a while because they sway even when the train does not. The tear drop boy lights a cigarette and starts smoking. The mums with the boys look at them and then look at each other with a look that says 'Glad he's not my son'.

That's when it happened. I could see it in his eyes. I urged him not to, with all the strength in my mind. It was too late.

"Scuse me der bois" Said the black gentleman in his Jamaican accent "Wudcha mind nat smokan?"
"You what?" Said tear drop
"Wudcha-"
"I fucking heard you niglet!" He shouted.

Tear drop stood up, the rest of his pack giggling like the hyenas they were. He took a deep drag and blew the smoke right in the black mans face. He the raised a hand as if he was about to hit him. Oh my God. What do I do? Do I help him? I don't know what to do. Oh fuck. Oh Fuck. OH FUCK! What do I do? I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who comes under the social parameters for standing up to these kids. Let's check old man, old couple, mums, and children. Can children fight? Oh fuck. Thankfully he was about to save my arse.

Tear drop gently pats the old man on the cheek.

"You know what son?" Tear drop said
"Son?"
Tear drop put out the cigarette. We pulled up to the station, and no one got on. What do I do? Fuck it.

I got up and sprinted out of the carriage. I was safe. Safe safe safe safe FUCKING SAFE! Guilt hit me like a kick in the nuts. No wait, I had just been kicked. Where the fuck am I. Then it came. A strange feeling of...numbness. Almost bliss, but not, more of a lie.

Hands where on me. They took my watch, my wallet my phone. As death embraced me, I remember thinking 'I wish I stayed on that train. That was a nice watch"

END

I always had multiple credit cards on hand for margin calls, becasue thats when you will come undone... sep 11 for instance the markets generally bounced back within a month but if you had a margin call and had to sell a bunch of shares at the lowest point in the market you would have been fucked

I am crap at day trading by the way but it took me 2 years and 50k US to work that out, so find your strength in any type of investing and exploit it

you wanna know how I started?

got a bunch of credit cards and a personal loan, dumped it on shares and then used that as evidence of assets and savings for the bank, withdrew the money from the shares to use as deposit on house, did a quick reno and - this is the key - DIDNT SELL OR FLIP IT - refinanced the loan (because the house value went up) and got a bigger loan which was enough to pay off the credit cards and personal loans!

then I did it another 2 times... after about 2 years I got them all refinanced again and dumped 100k aussie into shares, using a margin loan of 200k I had 300k in the market, earning about 45k in profit for year one, plus 15k in dividends which all went to the interest payments...

after 8 years its kicking ass but you have to be prepared to have HUGE debt and earn just a thin margin until compond interest kicks in.....

stay away from CFD's man

I trade now....

3 portfolios.

one warren buffet style buy -and- hold

one warrants trading

one short term derivatives

8 years ago I was a warehouse boy myself, I bought property in Australia (thats where I was living at the time) before they had the olympics and made a killing, then used the equity to get into stocks and slowly made enough of interest and dividends not to work properly....

trading asia and aust. market now because I honestly think US is going down big time and I don't want any assets in an economy like that...

I do have a bit of US shares but not a lot

CFD's are massive in the UK right?

Apparently your cronies are sucking your dick again. This was decent, not great. It lacked content somewhere and failed to convey things properly. It ended abruptly and could have used a couple more paragraphs in the end. It also came across as a "see spot run" type. You are slowly coming around, though. Good luck and keep up the good work. +1

I have cronies?

Also thank you for the review, nice and honest. Much better than my first post....and my second....and my third.
