He actually held a pretty stoic look on his face the whole time, but afterwards his elbow was a lovely shade of red and much larger around than it should have been. That should make you happy.
BUT, like I said below, I cheered for Hughes because he's local, and a wicked badass, but I give Gracie some credit. It was people of his ilk that changed the sport to what it is today, with the greater focus on grappling and submission holds etc...
I don't think guys like Hughes would necessarily even be around the sport if guys like Gracie hadn't started the alteration of it to what it is today.

Hughes dominated him. Nothing less than that. Took him out in the first round.
I think Royce Gracie may be having some work done on his arm soon. Hughes had it cocked at a rather odd angle as he beat Gracies face in.
It was only a good fight in the sense that Gracie took such a royal ass whipping, really. I would have liked it to go longer, and seen a little more out of Gracie...

He's getting some attention from the media so it seems to work.

I need to go to another TKO (our equivalent of UFC). It's pretty fun. Plus, it's always a Quebecers versus an Ontarian which makes the rivalry more insteresting considering our deep-seeded hatred for each others.

A few years ago he was in japan doing K-1 fighting, and he wasn't nearly as good as he used to be. Now everybody trains in jujitsu, they aren't as good as him in it, but have enough tools where they can defend themselves.

Yeah, Anansie, he's from a town about fifteen or twenty minutes away from here. It's going to be a great fight, Gracie is one of the best grapplers ever, and Hughes is a pretty well rounded fighter altogether.
I still can't call this one.
Gracie has the experience by far, but he's almost forty.
Hughes is still young and has such power it's unbelievable.
I'm saying it could go either way.
I will not stop Cookie.. I WON'T.
I may have the verse for that project by Tuesday.

Hughes WILL win. One of the guys I work out with was at a clinic with Gracie a few months ago and he had a big paunch. He is old, out of shape, and though he could break me into little pieces the sport has evolved while he has gotten slower.
