I saw something just a few moments ago, that was extremely disturbing. It made my heart hurt for the children (and parents). I am at a loss in searching for the response to how I feel about this. I wanted to turn away to not have those images with me forever, however, I could not. I can not remember the last time I cried as hard as I just did.
With that being said, there is a video essay I am going to try to link. At this very moment, I question this because I know the response will be, I hope the response from the Uber community will be just a bit sedate. I know there is a great deal of "material" there, and maybe all of you have already seen this(maybe in some sick way, I am secretly looking forward to the "typical" response). I just was extremely moved by the images I just saw and wanted to share them.
In case the link does not appear (I am not sure how to link), just copy and paste into your browser and watch the
Chernobyl Legacy by Paul Fusco.

Thats some pretty brutal shit. It's horrible to think that we, as a race, have done that to these children. I wonder how these Russian executives sleep at night still trying to kid themselves 'it was an accident'. It's sickening to think about how long these people and others in the surrounding area will have to put up with being deformed and retarded in such a severe way
