I'm going on vacation so there probably won't be another AHTT for about three weeks. I know it's not a big deal in any of your lives, but I think you might wanna know anyway.
While I'm gone, do me a favor and post the link to the AHTT website at forums you visit, or send it to your friends, or whatever. Just get it out there, because then maybe I'll try harder to make these good.

P.S.- Read more about The Oneida Community. Sarah Vowell's book "Assassination Vacation" has an awesome piece on it, though it's only a few pages. Interesting as hell.

Another interesting 'religious' figure is this guy named Robert Matthews. He called himself 'the Prophet Matthias', and was a bit crazy. There was also another guy named Elijah Pierson, who eventually fell in with Robert Matthews, but not before also being rather insane. As in, his wife died, and he honestly spent several hours at the funeral in front of 200+ people trying to raise her from the dead (it didn't work).
There's actually this book called 'The Kingdom of Matthias' that's pretty good, about Matthews and Pierson and some other people. Look Matthews up on Wikipedia for a more complete, less, you know, retarded description of him.
My point is, he was craaaaaaazy.
