"Take the money and run,"
It's all I can think as I walk on the nearly grass covered curb. I don't remember what time it is, and my pockets are empty. And I follow the road, just to walk.
It's getting dark, it's still warm, just a little bit too warm for a walk. I throw my arm out to the right to keep from falling over, throw my head back and laugh at the people watching me. Yeah, I am crazy.
It's ok though, because I can still run, my legs still work. I'll run till the end of the earth, and this music is just right.
I hop that fence, and grab a few apples. One for now and one for later.
I walk down that street, with this shade of orange, with a half eaten apple in my right, and a whole in my left.
