Yes, it's what nobody has been waiting for.
The big one.
The unholy one.
The contest to end all contests (even though this is it's third installment).
D-PRIME MADNESS!!!!!
On Saturday night at approximately 10pm, I will release matchups with a title for each of the first round matches. The people in that match will each release an Uberpost with that exact title, with story/content that goes with the title; if they release more than one post with that title, the first one will be used. The post that gets the highest rating as of 9pm Friday night in one week will be the winner and move on to the next match.
There are NO rules. Make your posts NSFW if you wish, plagiarize if you think you will get away with it. This is NOT a writing competition, but a posting competition. This is keeping with the original spirit of D-Prime Madness. While writers are encouraged to participate, realise that you run the risk of geting beat by Emu and Ha Ha Rabbit.
Tie-breakers:
1. Number of reviews
2. Most +2s
3. Fewest -2s (I do this as to take priority off the lowering/heightening power of 0s)
4. Hits
If you want to join just comment on this post saying that you want to, preferably along with the sentence 'Are you one of these morons who not only have horrible English, which isn't a big deal, but gets mad at people who have good English and calls them stupid?' Note, I also suggest that you review every post with that! Everyone who signs up will be given a matchup baring you are the oddman out at the end. Signup early so you don't run the risk of being the last person who signs up that might be cut.
The deadline between posts is subject to change in latter rounds based on participation. Every title will be taken from the UberMadness suggestion page.
You may be wondering why I am qualified to undertake this task so here are my qualifications:
Runner up in Original D-Prime Madness.
Second in command in the everyday runnings of D-Prime Madness.
Rigged D-Prime madness to face myself in the first round without D-Prime's knowledge.
Has enough free time to run this damn thing and see that it is concluded.
There will be no set brackets in this competition, every macthup will be handpicked by me, possible at random but how the hell would you know anyways?
The prize for winning this competition? the all-sought-after D-Prime Madness Cup, the ultimate symbol of Uber ability. Since D-Prime has forfeited the cup to me, I have modified the trophy. That's right I have done the seemingly impossible and DRAINED THE D-PRIME MADNESS CUP OF IT'S NEVER ENDING SUPPLY OF PEPSI! I felt the need to personalize it, so the cup has been altered so that it has a never ending supply of Dr. Pepper. The cup will remain flowing until the next competition, and as this will likely bury it into the ground that means it will be yours for all time.
Anything else that needs to be addressed will be done so in the comments or in the post on Saturday.
