People talking, moving.
Television sets on.
Cars.
Drills.
Street vendors.
Music.
Children.

Planes buzzing.
Too many planes.
Unknown planes.
Growing louder, coming closer.

Foreign objects whisteling in the air.

Noise.

An explosion.

Silence.

Cars stopped running.
People standing still.
Nothing at all.

A baby cries.
One long cry.
Other children join in.
Parents join.
Anyone alive joins.
An entire nation wailing.
Crying, weeping.
Dying, dead.
Mourning.
Beneath this unfamiliar ceiling of dust and smoke.
