To all who are sick of DPMPBD (I think there are two): I don't care. We're enjoying it; it's serving its purpose as a serious alternative. Don't read about it. That it's big enough to have enemies is a testament to how successful it is; look at JFK. Now for all who are still here, chill out and watch (or participate in) the games!
At first there were 26.
And then there were 14.
And now there are only 8.
Four competitors remain in the ultimate contest of Uber posting skill. D-Prime Madness presented by Darko has reached Round Three and the *trumpet call* Elite Eight!
There will be four match-ups for this, the third round, and the Uber public will rate each submission. These ratings will decide which four members of The Elite Eight go on to the Final 4, and which four members go home.
This second round seemed more exciting than the first round, with more close matches, drama, and excitement. Let's take a look. Here is an analysis of Round Two!

Maiorano84- http://www.ubersite.com/m/89831 . The Cyst Master has yet to get below a 1.9 for his entries in this contest. In 5 of the other match-ups Maiorano's 1.75 would have won, not this time though.
rad1101- http://www.ubersite.com/m/89792 defeats EchoBoxing- http://www.ubersite.com/m/89786 . Rad is a man-whore, and everyone loves him for it. Echo would have moved on, but a late -2 ended his dreams of becoming the Lord of Awesome.
Sacrilicious- http://www.ubersite.com/m/89870 defeats Ghola- http://www.ubersite.com/m/89869 . To everyone who bitches at me for always bringing up the filename of a picture, let this match prove that I am right.
ChristPuncher: http://www.ubersite.com/m/89631 defeats Brdn_Nkd - forfeit. Brdn_Nkd might have forgotten that he was still in this contest. Or maybe he was so intimidated by Beeb's tribute to Patsy Ramsey that he couldn't gather the courage to post against it. You decide.
Darko: http://www.ubersite.com/m/89857 defeats Guiness- forfeit. I have the uncanny ability to match myself against people who end up forfeiting. Man I rule. Here is my BOLD prediction. If my opponent forfeits each round, I will win this whole thing!
Average_Dan: http://www.ubersite.com/m/89865 defeats BobLobla: http://www.ubersite.com/m/89828. Bob made the best D-prime madness post of all time last round. This round he submitted a picture of a flaming bucket of KFC. Clearly he cracked under the pressure, and under the ginormous weight of Average-Dan's bald head.
The best of the worse who gets to move on- Congratulations to Maiorano84 with his 1.75. This is the last round where the highest rated loser moves on (barring double forfeits).

The round ends at 9:30pm Friday, in exactly six days, the successful posters are tallied and move on to Round Three. An entry must have 3 unique ratings in order to be valid, so be careful about posting at 9pm on Friday because you might end up forfeiting. Despite posting this on Saturday, I did go through the ratings on Friday.

Damn. If I'd had the time and done that collage...I was going to post in the morning and get a load of +2s from the Brit crowd. 1.98, crap I couldn't have beaten that anyway.
I guess the 23MB collage I was gonna add if I made the final will go to waste now.
