I am done with those cheese dicks! This past December I bought one of those little Samsung 1GB MP3 players. The sales weeny talked me into getting the "TWO YEAR REPLACEMENT" warranty. "Yeah man if anything goes wrong with it we will replace it no charge at least once". I figured why not, being accident prone I figured I might drop the damn thing in some water at least once in the next two years. Well, I didn't even get that chance. The damn thing just stopped working last week. No charge, won't even turn on. So I go up there today and stand in line for 45 minutes. Then the retard behind the desk talks to just about everyone behind the counter and then proceeds to FUCKING CHAT AND LAUGH WITH THE MANAGER FOR ABOUT ANOTHER 15 MINUTES BEFORE COMING BACK! Then she tells me "we don't carry that anymore." I said "ok well give me the next best thing then." To which the cunt replies "You can BUY an upgrade if you like". I CAN FUCKING WHAT???? Why the shit did I buy a two year replacement then? Why don't you apply that POS to the fucking upgrade? "I can't do that sir". YOU FUCKING SUCK. Let me talk to the manager. That's when I realized laugh and talky biotch is the manager so you can imagine what happened next. FUCK Best Buy, they are a bunch of filthy scum liars!

Never ever buy the "extended warranty"...all a bunch of horseshit.
That being said, I've never had a problem with Best Buy, ever, as they're light years ahead of the local competition here (Circuit City, Radio Shack) in terms of quality.

i had a sweet $100 wireless natural keyboard several years back that broke because...umm....it got peed on.
i dried it out, it didn't work. i brought it back...they gladly replaced it for free with no documentation whatsoever. and then tried to sell me a free replacement warranty.
