"Daddy me and Bella are bored, there's nothing to do here."
"Nothing to do well let me think."
"I suppose goin down to the creek and catchin water skimmers isn't fun."
"And I suppose it would bore to take your mom's basket and pick some blackberries."
"And heaven forbid you go out and build a fort, do some adventuring, take the 4wheelers around the west end, or take the johnny out in the pond"
"You're right girls, there is nothing to do around here maybe we should go get a new video game or something?"
Silent pause.
"Ok dad, we get the point." Kenna would say and they'd hustle out the front door.
I'd step out on the porch, sit down on the swing and watch as the cloud of dust rolled behind them as they ride down the hill.
As I sit there I can see their lives play out before my eyes.
Kenna will fold into the family business; her heart has always been here with us. She'll marry some yokel or some boy she meets at college and they'll have kids and live within miles of us. We'll have Sunday dinners together and my first little girl will always be within Daddy's protective reach.
Bella on the other hand will be different, by the time she reaches college she'll be so sick of this place our county life style that her skin will be itching thinking about living here a second longer. She'll major in something along the lines of art or design in school and she'll flit around the country stopping in for holidays and birthdays.
We'll miss her tons and when she's here we'll make a big fuss and we'll all get together and spend late nights on the weekends that she's in town reminiscing about days when kids were bored and Daddy's set them off on adventures.
Eventually Bella will settle down, she'll miss her daddy and momma and her big sister and she'll move to one of the near by cities.
On breezy summer nights my girls will stop by to say hello and we'll sit on this porch swing. My arms wrapped tightly around both of their shoulders and we'll laugh and carry on about how momma's still on me to fix that last bit of fence or how I shouldn't be blowing up stuff all the time.
And when they leave slip into bed with momma and we talk about what's to happen the next day and we'll talk about how we hope that we did the right thing moving out here so many years ago; in our hearts we'll know that we did. We'll know we raised our babies the right way and gave them the right foundations and memories to grow into wonderful creatures.
And then one day my wife and my daughters will lay me down for the last time on this land. There'll be weeping and mourning but mostly there'll be celebrating of life. There'll be remembering of what was good and wholesome and understanding of a man's vision and the utter happiness he gets from seeing it come to light.

FartSmeller - the question is are your refering to the actual movie 'Raw Talent- Deep Inside Lydia's Ass' or American Psycho wherein Patrick Bateman receives said movie?
