Regarding - CNN Paper: Army to end Halliburton deal
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/07/12/arms.halliburton.iraq.reut/index.html
It is amazing, they are finally going to let some other companies get some contracts in Iraq and not let Halliburton have the monopoly over them anymore. Or are they? If you read the above link you'll find this nice little statement in it: "According to the report, the Pentagon plans to split the Iraq work among three companies to be chosen this fall and Halliburton would be eligible to make a bid". So don't be surprised if you find Halliburton back on top when this so called bidding starts. But, I guess my opinion could be wrong, maybe Bush and Cheney have turned over a new leaf and will no longer rip off the American middle class... ya right. This company has already received over 7 billion in contracts and what have they accomplished? I haven't seen or heard one single major project completed in Iraq. We'll just have to see where the wheels of power turn this to. I'm curious what you all thing about this. Do you believe this is just another attempt by the republicans to save there majority in the November elections? Will the army actually give the contacts out to other companies, or will Halliburton weasel their way back in?

This has gotta be the worst period in world history, bar none. I'd almost rather had lived in the middle fucking ages that in this shit.
Every direction you turn, there is another sign that the fucking proverbial 'end' is near.
We should be storming the fucking White House and dragging the entire first family out onto the lawn for a nice bonfire.
These motherfucking people are criminals and we do nothing. We are complacent little subservient sheep. We didn't even elect this motherfucker and he's destroying our goddamned country.
Well I say we get the 66% of Americans who are pissed off and do something.

Since Cheney gave up his shares in Halliburton, he probably wants to his new corporate interests in on the action.
Simple. Fuck it all man. It's too corrupt to even ponder.

One huge oil company is as bad as another. None of them are in it to lose money...

I heard 50% is going to Halliburton, and 50% is going to KBR...

I wouldn't doubt it, this is all just a big joke in my eyes.
