The featured movie at the Intertube Movie Database (IMDb) today is "In the Realms of the Unreal" a movie mostly based on the life and works of one Henry Darger, janitor/hermit/street nutbag/"outsider artist" who wrote, at 15,000 pages of single-spaced lines, what's considered the longest "novel" ever written.

I was watching a discovery or history channel program where Toynbee quotes and movie references were built into roads or painted on to the roads all across the globe. I'll see if I can't find it and get back to you.
