OK Uber. I have decided that I am not a good writer.
Actually you guys have decided that I am not a good writer. I have also had little or no ability to write or even try to write anything lately.
So I am going a new route. I am going to start covering a few songs and putting them on here.
I hope you enjoy them. Maybe I will get to writing again and put some of my own songs on here.
This is one of Jewel's songs. I am quite fond of her. I am quite fond of any chick that can play guitar and sing. I met a girl in Lebanon that could play and sing. She would be moneyswoman right now had I been single at the time. She might be rocket bait by now.

I tried to learn to play the guitar in 9th grade. I stopped after a guitar string snapped and hit my arm. That hurts like hell. I can still play the Inspector Gadget theme song! And I can also play the piano and probably the drums even though it's been a few years. I can't sing though.

I fucking hate people with talent. Hate them.
I was at a party the other week with a live band (I know the drummer). All cool. Then one of our friends gets up in the break, picks up one of the guitars and fires off half a dozen songs (including Ocean Colour Scene - The Circle). Cunt, no fucker knew he could play let alone sing.
You could see all the girls looking at him differently after that.

I don't have my own recording deck, yet. (you reading this moneyswoman?) I went to a local karaoke place that will let you record yourself for a small fee. The tracks were put down at the same time. I don't think the guy that was running the shop cared about how things were sounding.
It was fingerpicked. I am not the greatest at it but I am not bad. I only use four fingers instead of the optimal five. My pinky is always used as a rest.

I very much enjoyed this. Good on ya for having the balls to cover a Jewel song on Uber, too.
My only suggestion is to either drop the level on the vocal track or bring the guitar track level up a hair...you did a nice job playing the ax, but it was a tad overdrowned by the vocal track which was a little disappointing. If that was all fingerstyle playing without a pick, I'm well impressed.
