I can't believe she's still sitting there. Did she even hear what I said? Maybe I should check. I could spell it out for her, but what would that help. This fucker couldn't catch a cold let alone grasp the simplicity of my statement.

I doubt I ever did. Does anyone truly ever love? The love that's undying, a never ending eternal love, that can only benefit someone. Does that exist? Not for me, that's for damn sure. What's she saying now? Those times that we spent together...sure they were special, but so was the first time I shit in a toilet. I better make sure she gets exactly what I'm saying.

Do you know how pathetic you sound? Stop trying to cling to your 'last chance' at love. If love exists then there never can be a 'last chance'. Why do we have this desire to love? I mean, it's not as if anyone ever really gained from it! Sure a few people may have been happier, but fuck them, I'd rather be in my own clique. I'm too good for most people anyway, better off on my own, without them bringing me down. I've been up and down the four corners of this big old world. I've seen it all and I've done it all. I've fought many a good man, and I've laid many a good woman. I've been in 'love' so many times...did I ever mean it?
