My Karma is speeding up. I must being doing some good! It may be that because I am working at a hospital, and saving people (or helping the doctors save people) that my bad things-to good things ratio is finally leveling out. It used to be that for every one good thing that happens to me, 5 more bad things seem to follow it.. But for some reason, and this could be all in my head, or it could be that my psychokinetic powers are rebuilding the beam of the Bear(Auto +2 for correct identification of reference) but it seems like my karma is speeding up. Now, for every one good thing that happens to me, I get one bad thing in return. Take today for instance:
Good thing, 11:40 pm: I woke up feeling fresh as a daisy.
Bad thing: I was an hour late to work.
Good thing, 1:00 pm: Girlfriend gone for two weeks! WOOOOT!
Bad thing, 1:35 pm: Her roommate is not. (Good for the lusts of the flesh, bad for karma)
Good thing, 12:15 am: I just got paid.
Bad thing, 12:16 am: So did my student loan.
Good thing, 11:45 pm: I just found a Salsa Picante Ramen noodle!
Bad thing, 11:45 & 37 seconds: I dropped it on the way to the kitchen with one step, and with the other stepped on it, effectively ruining its shit.
Good thing, 12:20am: I was just on the phone with the Deftones on RockLine!
Bad thing, 12:25am: They were so baked, everything I said to them made me sound stupid. Me: "Hey Chi, Steph, hey guys, will you be playing any songs from your new album coming up on the Family Values Tour?" Chi/Steph: "Huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuh yeah, about 19 grams." I still love them regardless.
