sooo, i guess i finally decided its time to get my act together and after 7 months of doing ABSOLUTELY nothing, which had preceded about 3 years or doing pretty much nothing, im throwing myself headlong into the world of higher education. i used the term losely cause im going to be attending quinsigamond comunity college for the criminally depraved, so i dont know exactly how much it counts, but its still a start, seeing as comming out of highschool i thought spending 3 years of just bummin around would be the shit.
i wont lie, it kinda was.
but thats over now and its time to start looking to the future. i took my placement exams yesterday and true to form i scored perfectly on the english sections and proved once again i know about as much algebra as a south american pygmie head hunter. seriously.
so i already know that one of my classes is going to be remedial math class for retards and fuck ups but im not exceptionally bummed out about that cause i actually need a remedial math class for retards and fuck ups instead of jumping headlong into a class for normal people... cause then i would be the dumbest kid in class, which i will most likely be anyways.
but aside from that i need to think of some classes i want to take. (im open to suggestions, they pretty much have the basics over there)
another factor lies in taking on enough courses to be considered a full time student. i dont know how many it takes to be considered full time, but as long as im a full time student i can get my dependant status back under my old mans service record and get back my military ID, which means i can hit the base and buy cheap liquor, and buy really cheap cartons of cigarettes and resell them to all my smoker friends and clean house. cigarettes are about 50 bucks a carton in massachusetts and theyre usually less than 30 dollars on base.
so yeah, this is basically just a ploy to get that card back so i can start running a black market cigarette and liquor empire. but i figure while im at it i might as well learn some shit too, couldnt hurt right?
plus ive already got a couple credits from my AP scores so ive got english and history in the bag this semester.
heres what i had in mind. 1. retard math 2. some kind of economics 3. sociology? 4. i dont know.
if you took anything interesting in school then tell me to take it cause as long as im doing this i might as well be interested.

another instance of it being a small world...
the weird thing is that telling someones mom to fuck off when youre drunk in this town really isnt all that uncommon. haha. considering most of us are drunk more often than not, its bound to happen a couple times.
my cousin was at a party once, and for some reason or another the lights went out and everything got silent and weird for a second, and he was in a bad mood all night i guess, but it was at that moment that he just decided he wanted to go home. so rather than open a door and walk home, he jumped through a plate glass window and ran home all fuckin cut up and bleeding and shit and ended up falling down in his neighbors lawn and laying there yelling untill his friend and sister came out and bandaged him up.
another time my buddy was getting drunk at this party and it was kinda the same deal. he decided the party sucks and wanted to leave, so he jumped through a window to get outa there as fast as he could. it was open this time but the problem was it was on the 3rd floor and he ended up breaking his foot and his leg and he still walked home on it.
we do fucked up shit around here...

Last time I went up to Clinton (probably 2001 or 2002, can't remember) I was with my girlfriend at the time, my roomate, and whatever slore he was with. Went to Chad's house to party.
I was hammered when I got there, and when someone tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to leave, I responded 'Who the fuck are you?!'
Turns out, it was Chad's mom.
We all left shortly thereafter, as Chad's mom was fixin to call the cops on us all.
I told him about it the next day on campus, and he laughed his ass off. Pretty cool reaction if you ask me, as I basically told his mom to fuck off.
haha good times.
I remember goin up there to play football with a bunch of Clinton kids too. No way I can remember anyones name, but there was probably about 20 of us.
I think they hit me a little harder because I am from Milford. Oh well.
Last I saw Satch was in 04, randomly ran into him on the Saco River up in Maine.

I used to go to Chad's house alot when i was in college.. Satch is the only friend of his that I remember (because he also went to school with us).
I have met a lot of people from Clinton.. haven't been up there in a few years though

Personally, I really enjoyed my art history classes, as well as themes in childrens liturature (if that's a possibility for you) I highly highly recomend both (depending on the teachers of course)

i wanna major in history or english pretty much... i dont know that for sure cause i might change my mind later so im not committing to anything... this is my first semester of school... what the fuck does it matter that i dont know what the hell i wanna do with the rest of my life for sure. im 21 and i dont know what i wanna be... I MUST BE THE ONLY ONE!!!!
i never said i wasnt interested in the classes im taking. did i specifically want ancient western civ... not really but its history and im going to enjoy it.
political science and US government... im very interested in that and that is a class i want to take.

and english interests me too. history and english are what i like and... WHAT DO YOU KNOW!?! those are what im taking.
does that mean i dont wanna take economics, sociology. no, i wouldnt mind taking a class on those, they sound interesting. but if everyone who walked into library for a book on history came out a historian we wouldnt need college to begin with.
either way i need the english credit and im gonna get the english credits. and if i wanna major in history well, im well on my way, and if i change my mind part way through. no big deal. 200 dollars a class isnt really breaking the fucking bank.

If you want to learn read a goddamn book. I said it was stupid to piss away money on classes you aren't interested in that won't help you in a career. Actually fuck that unless it will help you in a career it is stupid to pay for it. There isn't a single thing in any one of the classes that you listed that you couldn't learn in the library.

Sorry I don't think failing out of art school makes you special Kaos. I know it means you are in no position to advise anyone on their choice of classes.
But to the point of this post and my comment, it is fucking stupid to take college classes for the sake of taking them.
Picking random shit at the last minute is no way to plan your education. Good for you for knowing you don't know what you want to major in, that is a step up from majoring in something that sounds neat. But it is still stupid to piss away money trying to decide what you want to learn.

indo didnt get to me... and considering its my first semester i dont really think i need to pick a major and go full steam ahead at it anyways... plus most of the classes i wanted were full already or they would require me to take 3 classes in a row and then wait around for an hour and a half and then go back to class... and fuck that. but i gotta go back anyways and try to get some shit switched up cause i didnt really want western civ, i kinda just needed something to fill that slot. but kids will be dropping classes so i might luck out and get that sociology class i wanted.

first off, im working full time on top of going to school full time. my parents arent shouldering the burden, im trying to make my own way as best i can. and second its a community college, its not gonna come close to 20 thou. my first semester is gonna be about 1200 bucks, which i can shoulder the brunt of... theyre nice enough to offer to give me money and im not gonna turn down.
next off, captilization. yeah, i know. if i was writing something for english professors i might consider capitalization and proper punctuation but i know... I KNOW that youre not an english professor and personally your + doesnt mean shit to me. dont get me wrong, im not a big fan of people who can type or put together a coherent sentence when theyre putting things online, but this wasnt exactly in leet speak and i wasnt typing like a 6 grade girl either. if my lack of capital letters has so offended you, well, im sorry. actually im not. i scored a perfect score on the AP lit and comp test and i know how the ins and outs of the english language, so show me your fucking phd and then ill be more than happy to kiss your ass, otherwise why even bring it up. i doubt im the first person to post something here that didnt include caps.

well i went today and it was a huge clusterfuck.
they didnt get my AP scores from 3 fucking years ago when they got my transcripts for whatever reason, but they waived me into english 102 anyways, but when i went up the guy fucked up and put me in 101 anyways even though i already have the credit for it so i hafta hunt down my AP scores and provide those for my 2 credits in english and history.
they didnt have an economics class for me and i was just about so sign up for introduction to sociology but somone pulled the rug out from under me and the class closed before the lady had me on the list for it.
this is what i ended up with.
