There was a rather [boring] storm yesterday afternoon. When we got home, we discovered that one of the [boring] trees in the [boring] yard got hit by [something boring]. There is a [non-exciting] streak running down the entire length of the trunk and it must have been quite [uninteresting] because [i'm posting about it]. [Gas & poop], but other than that [you all can breathe a sigh of relief for how much you care about me because] the house seems to have escaped damage.

THE CABLE IS OUT
Which means [something else you could care less about,] THE INTERNET IS OUT.
[I should stop here, but I won't, because I'm boring and] they'll be out tomorrow to "fix it" sometime between 8:00 and 12:00.
[This is a stupid post] isn't it? Since [I'll go off on a tangent here that is neither funny nor has any redeemable value].
We've been through this before [where I'll expound upon that meaningless tangent from the previous paragraph].
It should be noted that if [you haven't stopped reading by now, I have more pointless exposition].
The bone fide [blah-gity blah, yeah I know I misspelled "bona fide" but that's okay because I also have a tendency to write "flea" instead of flee].
I'll come back to work really really angry, sit on hold for an hour, [post a message on Uber about this uneventful charade, but act like I gave the cable company a piece of my mind though everyone knows I just took whatever they shafted me with like a passive dipshit, even though] the last time we had a problem with the cable, the idiot who came out to fix it LET THE DOG OUT OF THE BACKYARD FENCE.
[Uberusers] will listen to me rant because [I've been here forever and for some reason people like to read my blog].
I'll [act like I] threaten[ed] to get a satellite dish but we both know I [didn't, I just needed a reason to say something boring about not having a land line].
At some point, [I'll even get tired of how pointless this post is, and stop writing, but not before writing one or two more inconsequential paragraphs].
[Similar to this one, which is just a whole lot of drivel. But not the good kind of drivel, like when you're really high or really tired. Or the funny kind of drivel, like after an 80-lb dog has just been drinking water and goes and sits by your friend. No, the drivel that is like the last 20 sentences I just wrote].
Eventually, [you'll stop reading and give me a sympathy rating. But I'll still have one or two things more to say].
Not that I'm [a complete waste of time] or anything.

Have you been reading the posts on Ubersite lately? There has been a lot of good writing, and I've been thinking how many good posts there have been the past few days.
This is not meant to be an insult or anything, but the only way you can think your post made the content of Ubersite better is if you skip over any post consisting mostly of text.

I've read a number of your posts. They offer absolutely nothing of substance to this site. And when I read bullshit like the above statement, I feel that interesting little warmth in the back of my skull that urges me towards violence. I work hard on my posts, and I find quite a number of quality pieces on this site. Yes, there is a fair amount of worthless shit - but just so you know, I lump your posts in with that latter category.
