I'm getting sick of reading about dead Canadians.
Even sicker when I hear my local news crew announcing the start of a war that hasn't even started yet.
What the fuck is with that? Don't you people have any real news to report?
Didn't any kids score any overtime goals in some nail-biting minor hockey game lastnight?
What the fuck happened to Best Garden contests?
Why is every small town redneck Albertan suddenly an expert on War?

you sound angry with the perequation system.
before your little oil adventure, (congratulations you happen to sit on a prized natural ressources, want a medal?), Alberta didn't matter much. Quebec and Ontario have been the driving forces of this country since pretty much its beginning.
Now the power is shifting and rednecks in Alberta are screaming injustice and have the balls to complain about seperatism while reluctantly sharing their winning lottery ticket with the rest of the country (are you canadian or not?). A country in which they never mattered until recently.
New Found Land recieves twice the amount per capita that Quebec does in the equalization program. Does that bother you? Of course it does. But they still carried off the rest of the country at the beginning of the confederation.
My point being...bitching about seperatism when you're ready to jump ship whenever it's your time to chip in is hypocritical.

That's okay though, supporting an entire province of disenfrachised sepratists is but a drop in the ocean. And when it comes to Canada, as in supporting Canada, that's just what the West does naturally.
