Debunking Popular Mechanic's Bullshit Lies
Here is that hit piece that is suppose to end all 911 conspiracy theories:

I dont even know where to start with this complete pile of shit but this rant will be two parts for lengths sake. First, they take 16 "claims" that are not even widely accepted by the 911 truth movement, some of which are absurd, then attack each "claim" with even more ridiculous claims themselves. Nice job, dickholes.
1. Where's The Pod?
No one really gives a fuck about the pod. It could be anything and it is not important to the real discussion on 911. It is a nice diversion from real topics like insider trading prior to the attack though.

This is suppose to be a core "911 theorist" belief? Wrong....strawman.
2. No Stand-Down Order
Looks like they took that right out of the 911 Commission Report without sourcing. Why no mention of the war games being run that day?
Vigilant Guardian- involved a hijacked airliner crashing into the WTC. Many top NORAD officials were not even sure if 911 was a real world scenerio. Simulated information was also being fed into radar screens as part of this exercise.
Northern Vigilance- pulled a large portion of NORAD's fighter jets into alaska and canada leaving the east coast virtually defenseless.
Other war games were going on that day but no information has been declassified about them.

3. Intercepts Not Routine
This one really burns me up. Not only is it a blantant lie but it is even contradicted by Maj. Douglas Martin himself who is one of PM's cited experts:

4. Flight 175's Windows
Another strawman. Another belief not widely held by the 911 truth movement.

5. Widespread Damage
The damage they explain could just as easily be made by explosives. Why didn't PM mention the eyewitness accounts of bombs going off in the towers BEFORE and AFTER the planes hit?
Guess they were too busy painting images of elevators slamming to the ground and people running out engulfed in fire. OH, THE HORROR!!! THE HORROR!!!
6. Melted Steel
Tons of molten steel was discovered in the basement weeks after 911. Jet fuel and office furniture cannot produce that kind of heat. NASA overflights recorded some parts of the WTC rubble at over 1200 degrees weeks after 911. If brief pockets of fire only caused the steel to weaken then why was there so much molten steel and why were temps so high weeks afterward? How did fires cause such perfectly symmetrical damage to steel structures and create a near free fall collapse on 3 separate buildings? Why were the twin towers and WTC 7 the FIRST steel buildings in history to collapse from fires? Why are traces of thermate being found on the WTC steel?
7. Puffs Of Dust
Why no mention of squibs going off 10-20 floors below the collapse zone?
If it was a pancake collapse why did the buildings implode at free-fall speeds? That is the most basic question one could ask.

There are a few very simple answers as to why the government doesnt go around killing 911 skeptics.
1. Half of New Yorkers believe 911 was allowed to happen or was an inside job. Over 30 percent of Americans believe the same. Outside the US it is largely considered a fact.
2. If 911 skeptics start showing up dead it makes them look all the more guilty.
